Celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Founding of Pickleball Hosting a Vintage Wood Paddle Tournament!

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of our great sport, Pickleball.com is celebrating by sponsoring local wood paddle tournaments across the country.

This is a great opportunity for local clubs and organizations to go back to the roots of the game and test their skills old school style. Let’s travel back in time to the 60s, 70s and 80s when wood ruled the court!

How it Works

There are two ways to participate:

1. Host a new tournament on PickleballTournaments.com exclusively using the Vintage Wood Paddle.

2. Add a Vintage Wood Paddle bracket(s) to an existing tournament you are or will be running on PickleballTournaments.com.

The recommended weekend to run this tournament is September 26 - 28 2025, which is the same weekend the PPA pros will be using the same Vintage Wood Paddles at the PPA Tour stop in Sacramento, California for a fun tie-in.

If this date does not work for you, no problem, host it whenever you like!
