The non-refundable tournament player service fee is added to the registration cost and collected directly from the player at registration, which covers the vast majority of the solution costs. This lets you focus your budget on all the other things that make a tournament great. The only time you as the tournament would owe this fee is for complimentary player registrations, or when the player registration is paid outside the system (example: cash payment at the tournament desk).

The Amateur Player Service Fee is $5 plus 7.99% of the total registration checkout (registration fee plus event fees). The fee is added to the registration cost and collected directly from the player at checkout. For a tournament with Registration Fee of $50 with Event Fee of $25:

When a tournament offers a professional bracket(s) and is offering $10,000 or greater in prize money, a Pro Player Service Fee applies. The Pro Player Service Fee is cumulative based on the number of events (singles, gender doubles, mixed doubles, etc.) the player registers for. As an example:
The Amateur Player Service Fee update applies to tournaments opening for registration on August 3rd, 2026 or later. Tournaments open for registration prior to this date remain on the legacy fee plan.

Use our Player Service Fee Escrow Service
The Player Service Fee is paid directly by the player as part of the registration process. This fee is collected by and paid directly to PickleballTournaments.com and represents the majority of the fees associated with the tournament. The only time a tournament would owe a Player Service Fee is for cases such as if a player is added to the tournament without going through the online registration process (e.g.: complementary registrations, onsite registrations, etc.).
If you are unable to accept online payments, don't worry, we can help. Use our escrow service to collect registration fees on your behalf for an additional service fee of $5.00 per registration.
