A portion of the net proceeds from this event will benefit the Susannah Wesley Community Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Kalihi-Palama.
Susannah Wesley Community enter has served the community for over 125 years. A fairly new Kupuna Korner program offers seniors the opportunity to participate in the planned activities and socialize over coffee/tea and light snack. There are no dedicated funds for the pilot program. Staff and volunteers are supporting the initiative on their own. To date, some of the activities have included bingo, making greeting cards, mindfulness and breathing techniques, Zumba, and lei making. The center has a PICKLEBALL program with lessons, open-play and more. Check it out!
