SCORING
All matches will be side out/traditional scoring.
Amateur Format for Skill/Age Events
Skill levels: 3.5 and above, below 3.5 only
Age Events: U18, 19+, 35+, 50+

Mixed Doubles: U18, 35+ (Under 3.5), and 50+
25 September, Thursday:
Mixed Doubles: 19+ and 35+ (Over 3.5)
Women's Singles: U18 and 50+
Men's Singles: U18
26 September, Friday:
Women's Singles: 19+ and 35+
Men's Singles: 35+ and 50+
27 September, Saturday:
Men's Singles: 19+
Women's Doubles: 35+ and 50+
Men's Doubles: 35+
28 September, Sunday:
Men's Doubles: U18, 19+, and 50+
Women's Doubles: U18 and 19+
All Amateur matches format are:
Round Robin Format: 1 game to 11, win by 2
Elimination Brackets: 1 game to 11, win by 2
Bronze Medal Match: 1 game to 11, win by 2
Gold Medal Match: 1 games to 15, win by 2
Note Regarding Entry Restrictions
Players are allowed to register for both the Pro and Amateur categories.
However, registering for multiple events held on the same day is not permitted, even across Pro and Amateur categories.
This rule is in place to prevent scheduling conflicts and ensure smooth tournament operations.
Please note that if you register for multiple events on the same day, we will remove your entries for all such days.
In the event a player who plays in both the Pro and Amateur progresses to the Pro Main Draw, then the tournament will immediately withdraw the player from the Amateur category.

PRO FORMAT

REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR PRO EVENTS: FRIDAY, SEPTEMEBER 5, 2025 at 12:00 pm (MALAYSIA time) OR WHEN THE ENTRIES ARE FILLED
ALL qualifying rounds will take place on Wednesday, 24 SEPTEMBER, 2025.
PPA Tour Professionals ranked inside the top 20 of a division will not be eligible to compete in that division, unless otherwise invited as a Host Wild Card.

All players signup for in the "Qualifier" waitlist. Entering does not guarantee a slot in the event.
Once registration closes, the size of the qualifiers will be determined, based on the number of entries for each Pro event. Players will be notified the following Friday after the pro registration deadline whether they are in the main draw, remain in the qualifier or did not receive a slot in the event.
Some events may not have qualifiers, if there are not enough players to warrant qualifying rounds.
Eligibility for Pro Qualifiers:
Players ranked outside the PPA Tour Top 20 in a certain category (Singles, Doubles, Mixed) are eligible to enter the Qualifiers in that category.
Players ranked within the Top 20 in a certain category (Singles, Doubles, Mixed) are NOT eligible to participate in the Qualifiers in that category, unless invited as a Host Wild Card.
Pro Qualifier Format
Single Elimination 2/3 games to 11 win by 2. Qualifier rounds for all events will not overlap with each other, so players may partake in multiple qualifying pro events.
There is NO PPA Points Draw for any Pro Qualifier Event.
Pro Main Draw Format
Single Elimination with a Bronze Medal Match.
All matches are 2/3 games to 11, win by 2.
24 September, Wednesday - Qualifier Rounds for ALL Pro Events (schedule TBD)
25 September, Thursday - Main Draw Round of 32, Round of 16, and QF for MS/WS Pro Events (schedule TBD)
26 September, Friday - Main Draw Round of 32, Round of 16, and QF for MD/WD Pro Events (schedule TBD)
27 September, Saturday – Main Draw Round of 32, Round of 16, and QF for XD Pro Event (schedule TBD)
28 September, Sunday - Main Draw Semi-Finals, Bronze Medal, and Gold Medal Matches for ALL Pro Events (schedule TBD)
There is NO Bonus or Back Draw for any Pro Event.

If at any time between the announcement of seeds to the start of the Pro Qualifiers event, a Pro player/pair is unable to participate in the Main Draw, they will be replaced by the highest ranked Qualifier.
For singles events and when both doubles partners are unable to play, the first reserve in the waitlist will then be invited to participate in the Qualifying event.
For doubles pairs in which only one (1) player is unable to play, the remaining player will be allowed to find a replacement and compete in the Qualifying event.
PAYMENT
All players will be liable to a pickleballbrackets.com service fee of $5 USD per event with a max of $10 for both amateurs and pros.
PARTNER POLICY
Both players in a doubles pair must have registered and paid up, to be fully registered as a doubles pairing. In the event that either player of a doubles pair, have not registered or paid, they will be moved to a waitlist seven (7) days post-registration, when the tournament registration window closes, or when the event is full, whichever comes first.
Players without a partner after registration closes may still send partner requests to those on the waitlist. Players who pair up on the waitlist may still be allowed into the event, subject to availability.
PARTNER REPLACEMENT POLICY
After registration is closed, any registered player losing a partner must replace that partner with an already registered player. If a player’s partner withdraws before a replacement is found, the player will not be allowed to replace their partner. The replacement partner must be in the same skill/age group that you are scheduled to play. Players can play down in age and up in skill. Replacements need to be known and communicated to the registration contact by 6pm the day before you are scheduled to play. Replacements can be found on the players needing partners list.
EVENT CHANGES
Tournament Director has the right to combine events based on either skill, age and/or gender, to provide the best overall playing experience, and also to shorten match formats, including scoring, if there are any scheduling delays.
ANY OTHER MATTERS
If there are any matters not provided by the regulations, the tournament's decision will be final.
