Tournament Description
Welcome to the 2024 Beach Blast Delaware State Championships hosted by First State Pickleball.
Slated to be Delaware's largest pickleball event of the year!
The tournament will be three days of incredible pickleball competition and celebration!
This is a United Pickleball qualifier for the 2024 Nationals run by the PPA (Professional Pickleball Association)
To accommodate the tournament, we've partnered with the amazing Sea Colony Tennis and Pickleball. Offering access to 20 outdoor courts and indoor facilities should weather decide not to cooperate.
It is an ideal setting for what promises to be an unforgettable tournament.
This tournament will be held on October 4-6 2024 and will be held on the gorgeous Sea Colony Courts located in Bethany Beach DE. The Beach Blast will be a tournament to remember and one you shouldn't miss.

Events offered for this tournament will be as follows:
Friday October 4, 2024 - Men's & Women's Singles (Full Court)
Saturday October 5, 2024 - Men's and Women's Doubles
Sunday October 6, 2024 - Mixed Doubles
Skill Levels 3.0 / 3.5 / 4.0 / 4.5 / 5.0
Age Divisions 18u / 19-34 / 35-49 / 50-59 / 60-69 / 70+
Groups with under 6 teams will be combined with another group of the same skill level.
Medals and National qualifications
Divisions would be combined by Skill first then Age.
Tournament Director reserves the right to change the playing format if deemed necessary.
Refund Policy
Last day refunds will be given is September 20, 2024.
All refunds will have a $10.00 admin fee withheld.
Weather
This is a Rain or Shine event.
The event is an outdoor event and in the event of rain, the tournament will be moved to inside courts at the Sea Colony and the starting times would be pushed to the afternoon.
