Thank you for registering for the Paddle Battle benefiting Arts of the Albemarle! Please get ready for an awesome day of competition and community!
We tried to hold out and see if the forecast would change for Saturday, May 2nd but there continues to be a 75-90% chance of rain for most of the day, therefore we have made the decision to move the tournament to Sunday, May 3rd. Those who cannot make it on Sunday can request a refund through the site and should do so ASAP so we can finalize brackets.
**Food truck Savannahs Island Catering will be on site Sunday and all participants will still receive a ticket for a free beverage of their choice that can be redeemed at Ghost Harbor Brewing (602 E Colonial Ave, Elizabeth City, NC 27909) but unfortunately they cannot be on site. We will also have an after tournament celebration at Ghost Harbor!
Player check-in begins on Sunday, May 3rd @ 0830. The male and female 50+ bracket will be merged with the Intermediate bracket for the round robin portion and then the medal round for both male and female 50+ will be separate. Play start times are as follows:
Beginner: 0900
Intermediate/Male-Female 50+: 1000
Advanced: 1100
