PRIZE MONEY (Moneyball) EVENTS:
We wanted to give amateur players of all levels the chance to compete for real prize money while testing their skills against top-tier opponents. For the first time, players can enter their respective rated divisions, earn prize money.
EACH SKILLED LEVEL EVENT WILL HAVE AN EVENT WITH "$$$" IN EVENT DESCRIPTION AND SUB TITLE STATING "Moneyball Event". There is a $25 Event fee instead of the regular $15 event fee, the extra $10 per player will go into the prize pool and it will be winner take all, pretty straight forward. Must be 18+ to participate in moneyball events.
TEAM EVENT:
*Regular Skilled events offered for experienced players 3.0-5.0 Skill levels
Mixed teams of 4 players (2 women and 2 men) are broken into divisions (based on skill level) to compete against each other in four games (2 gendered, 2 mixed). There will be a round robin format where you will play 2 other teams and top 4 teams advance to a playoff for medals.
FORMAT: (1) Match = (4) Dbls games and if needed be (1) Singles dreambreaker format.
Dbls games: Games to 11, win by 2, side out scoring (just like the pro level MLP)
Singles/Dreambreaker (if required): Games to 21, rally scoring, each player will play 4 consecutive points and then the next team mate will play 4 consecutive points and so on.
*Home/Away teams will be randomly selected, Away team will need to input Mixed line up first, and if it goes to dreambreaker, home team will need to input lineup first.
Teams are encouraged to dress in uniform and have fun rooting on your team in the games. Prizes given out to best dressed team!

FUNFAIR AND FUNDRAISER COMPONENTS AT THE TOURNAMENT:
There will be a funfair opportunity on one of the courts where players can buy tickets to participate in the Safe Harbor pickleball obstacle Course for highest points accrued. A daily grand prize winner will be selected each day of the tournament.
There will be a 50/50 for those who are 18+
As well as a silent auction of some amazing packages.

During the 20+ years we’ve been in business, our organization has received a variety of recognition. In 2004, we were honored to receive the State Social Work Agency of the Year award from the Washington chapter of the National Association of Social Workers.
