All match results will be officially reported to DUPR. Players must register ONLY their primary/established DUPR account with verified matching names/profiles/match history.
🚫 No phantom and/or ghost accounts with zero and/or minimal match history will be allowed
🚫 No duplicate profiles; No fake or No alternate (nick name) accounts will be allowed
If you can’t log into your primary & established DUPR account, you must 100% confirm and/or synch your established DUPR profile with Pickleball.com before registration.
🔧 PADDLE POLICY (MANDATORY) 🔧
All paddles inside the player's bag must be approved by:
• USAP Approved Paddle List
• UPA-A (United Pickleball Association – Approved)
• All unapproved or counterfeit paddles = ZERO MoneyBall prize(s) & 0-11 reported DUPR scores
Players must bring: 100% compliant paddles and current government photo ID

• Delaminated, unapproved and/or counterfeit paddles = ZERO MoneyBall prize(s) & 0-21 reported DUPR scores
• Altered/modified surfaces = ZERO MoneyBall prize(s) & 0-21 reported DUPR scores
• Cracked or fatigued paddles = ZERO MoneyBall prize(s) & 0-21 reported DUPR scores
• Unapproved prototypes = ZERO MoneyBall prize(s) & 0-21 reported DUPR scores
• “Training mode” or “tweaked” paddles = ZERO MoneyBall prize(s) & 0-21 reported DUPR scores

Illegal paddles used for ANY match will receive 0-21 DUPR match scores. No exceptions! Competitors will be allowed to challenge illegal paddles, call kitchen faults, and improper (volley) serves as faults. This protects competition, ensures fair play, and supports the integrity of DUPR-verified results.

⚠️ Tournament Expectations & Player Responsibility
Charleston Rangers™ MoneyBall is designed to run on time, competitively, and efficiently. Players are expected to arrive prepared with 100% Approved-Paddle(s) and ready to compete within the structured tournament schedule. To ensure smooth operations for all participants, the following expectations apply.
⏱ Player Check-In & Readiness
All players must:
• Check in at least 30 minutes before their scheduled bracket start time
• Be fully warmed up and ready to play when called
• Remain within the tournament facility during their bracket
Matches may begin earlier than scheduled if courts become available. Players who are not present when their match is called may receive: Forfeit of that match and 0-21 score penalty, or depending on the situation. The tournament will not delay matches due to absent players.
🧑🤝🧑 Player Responsibility
By registering for Charleston Rangers™ MoneyBall, players accept responsibility for:
• 100% USAPA and/or UPA Approved Paddles based on current website database during competition
• Monitoring tournament announcements via SMS text messaging
• Arriving on time for their matches
• Ensuring their DUPR profile and division eligibility are accurate
Players are responsible for understanding the tournament format, rules, and schedule before competing.

• Social media updates
• Bracket software notifications
Players should remain attentive throughout their bracket to avoid missing match calls.
⚖️ Tournament Director has full authority to make final decisions regarding:
• Match rulings
• Schedule adjustments
• Player eligibility
• Equipment compliance
• Dispute resolution
All Tournament Director decisions are final. These policies ensure the tournament runs fairly, safely, and on schedule for all competitors.

Teams suspected of sandbagging, using illegal paddles, and illegal serves, including those with low DUPR reliability scores or No Rating, may be subject to forfeiture of prize money and forfeiture of ALL matches (0-21 reported DUPR scores).
