1st Annual TAG Summerfest Open hosted by Pickleball Is Great (PIG)

Round Robin format (skill/age) WITH playoffs for Gold/Silver/Bronze for skills 3.0-4.5+.

Final age brackets will be determined following the close of registration.

Medals to top three placers in each division

Players will Self Rate and cannot play lower than their DUPR Rating. Players may only play up in skill 1.0 from their profile rating. Tournament Director reserves the right to correct underrated players.

Using the Franklin X-40 Pickleball

All paddles must be USAP sanctioned tournament approved.

Payment is required to register – Standard registration $40+ ($15/event) through Apr 30th, 2025. Any registration after May 1st, 2025 will be $50+ ($15/event).

Partner must register within 7 days or be moved to the wait-list.

(Age breaks based on registration, but will strive to be close to under 50, 50+)

Saturday - Women's Doubles, Men's Doubles

Sunday - Mixed Doubles

Format:

ALL Round Robin with playoffs for Gold/Silver/Bronze. All games/matches are win by 2.

Most Round Robins are 1 to 15 but may change based on the number of players in the event. If an event has 8-9 teams, round-robin matches will be 1 to 11 by 2.

Top 3-4 teams advance to the playoff if only a 1 pool bracket ( All matches are 1 to 15 ). Top 2 teams advance to the playoffs for multiple pool brackets.

TD may combine brackets as needed to ensure quality play.

Tournament may close at any time if maximum daily numbers are met (even if some events appear to have openings)

All refunds will have a $10 Admin fee before the end of registration May 25, 2025. No refund of the Pickleball tournaments service fee.

No refunds after close of registration.

If an event is cancelled due to weather, there will be up to a 50% refund.

Pickleball Is Great reserves the right to refuse service at anytime.
