The daily event schedule will be posted and emailed to players on December 28th.

This is a Skill Level/Age Group Tournament. Registration is by skill level.

For doubles and mixed doubles, you must sign up at the skill level of the higher rated partner. Players with a PickleballBrackets.com rating must use that rating. Players with a USAPA UTPR rating but no PickleballBrackets.com rating must use that rating. Players with neither rating may self rate.

Ratings will be verified on or around November 15th. If you register before that date, please re-verify your rating in early November and modify your registration if necessary. Ratings for players registering after November 15th will be verified at the time of registration.

Age groups will be determined by registration numbers.

For a guaranteed spot in mixed doubles or doubles, the second partner must sign up within 3 days of the first partner's registration. Incomplete teams will be moved to the waiting list after that. Once the second partner registers, they will be moved back into the event IF THERE ARE SPOTS LEFT IN THE TOURNAMENT AND THE EVENT.

The tournament is limited to 300 players and will automatically close when that number is reached.

The tournament format is round robin for events with a small number of teams. For events with more than 9 teams, teams will be divided into two or more seeded pools and the top two teams in each pool will advance to a playoff round to determine medal winners.

Tournament results will be sent to the USAPA for inclusion in USAPA Tournament Player Ratings.

Skinny singles is played on half the court. Players may register for both regular singles and skinny singles.

The registration fee is $50 for one event and $10 for each additional event.

LaKota Oaks Conference Center, 32 Weed Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06850, is the official hotel of the Connecticut Open Pickleball Tournament

GUESTROOM RATES:

$129/night rate (including a continental breakfast for (2)people) plus tax. Rates quoted are net, non-commissionable and subject to Occupancy tax, which is currently 15%.

ROOM RESERVATION PROCEDURES:

Guests should call the hotel directly at 203-852-7300 and ask for the CT Pickleball Open to make their own accommodations. Any requests for special room arrangements must be made at the time of the call.

CHECK-IN I CHECK-OUT:

Guest accommodations will be available after 3:00 pm on arrival day and reserved until 11:00 a.m. on departure day. Any attendee wishing special consideration for late checkout should inquire at the front desk on the day of departure. Should LaKota Oaks allow for late check-out, it may impose a half day rate.

Refund policy:

No refunds for withdrawals from an event.

Refunds minus a $10 processing fee for withdrawals from the tournament up through December 26, 2019.

No refunds for withdrawals from the tournament after December 26, 2019.

Entry fees may be transferred to a replacement player at any time up through the morning of the event.

Refunds will be processed after the tournament is over.
