The Pickleball Canada Western Regional Championship Tournament will be skill based (3.0 and under, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, and Open) and ages (18 and under, 19-34, 35-49, 19-49 in some cases, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus or some combination of these skills and ages). This tournament will be held outdoors at the South Country Co-op Pickleball Courts with singles being played indoors in the Big Marble Go Centre. The tournament ball will be announced once Pickleball Canada has an agreement in place with a specific company.
Please note that one team member must be of the age and/or skill in the bracket you are registering in. This is in accordance with our agreement with Pickleball Canada. The other player must not be more than 0.5 a skill level below the bracket being entered into. For example, a 3.5 cannot enter a 4.5 bracket with a partner but a 4.0 may do so. The rating being used is the CTPR. For the Open brackets, all players must be CTPR 4.5 or higher. The 0.5 skill level below does not come into play in these brackets.
