Pickle For The Pets is a charity event benefiting the Yavapai Humane Society. Net proceeds will go to the Yavapai Humane Society.
***THIS IS A NON-SANCTIONED PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT. Have fun and support our less fortunate four-legged friends!***
This will be a round robin (RR) tournament featuring Women's Doubles, Men's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. Skill levels include 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5+, split into age appropriate groups. If registrations are low in specific skill and/or age group, the Tournament Committee reserves the right to merge groups as needed.
*For merged brackets, medals will be awarded based on the bracket the team originally signed up for.*

******Round Robin format for 2 team bracket
Quadruple RR, 1 game to 21, win by 1
Upon completion of the RR, medals will be awarded based on overall performance.
There will be NO PLAYOFFS for 2 team brackets.
******Round Robin format for 3 team brackets
Double RR, 1 game to 21, win by 1
Upon completion of the RR, medals will be awarded based on overall performance.
There will be NO PLAYOFFS for 3 team brackets.
******Round Robin format for 4 teams, 5 teams, 6 teams, and 7 teams
4 teams - Double RR, 1 game to 15, win by 1
5 teams - Single RR, 1 game to 15, win by 1
6 teams - Single RR, 1 game to 15, win by 1
7 teams - Single RR, 1 game to 15, win by 1

******PLAYOFFS for brackets of 4 teams, 5 teams, 6 teams, 7 teams
Upon completion of the entire RR, the top 4 teams based on overall performance will move to the playoffs.
Of those 4 teams, the top 2 teams based on overall performance will play for Gold and Silver (2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 1). The 3rd and 4th highest teams based on overall performance will play for Bronze (best 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 1).
******Brackets with 8 or more teams will be split into POOL PLAY.
Each pool will play a Single RR, 1 game to 15, win by 1.
Upon completion of the entire RR, the top 2 teams based on overall performance from EACH POOL will move to the playoffs. Of those 4 teams, the top 2 teams based on overall performance will play for Gold and Silver (2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 1). The 3rd and 4th highest teams based on overall performance will play for Bronze (best 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 1).
