Pickle For The Pets is a charity event benefiting the Yavapai Humane Society. Net proceeds will go to the Yavapai Humane Society.

***THIS IS A NON-SANCTIONED PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT. Have fun and support our less fortunate four-legged friends!***

This will be a round robin (RR) tournament featuring Women's Doubles, Men's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. Skill levels include 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5+, split into age appropriate groups. If registrations are low in specific skill and/or age group, the Tournament Committee reserves the right to merge groups as needed.

*For merged brackets, medals will be awarded based on the bracket the team originally signed up for.*

******Round Robin format for 2 team bracket

Quadruple RR, 1 game to 21, win by 1

Upon completion of the RR, medals will be awarded based on overall performance.

There will be NO PLAYOFFS for 2 team brackets.

******Round Robin format for 3 team brackets

Double RR, 1 game to 21, win by 1

Upon completion of the RR, medals will be awarded based on overall performance.

There will be NO PLAYOFFS for 3 team brackets.

******Round Robin format for 4 teams, 5 teams, 6 teams, and 7 teams

4 teams - Double RR, 1 game to 15, win by 1

5 teams - Single RR, 1 game to 15, win by 1

6 teams - Single RR, 1 game to 15, win by 1

7 teams - Single RR, 1 game to 15, win by 1

******PLAYOFFS for brackets of 4 teams, 5 teams, 6 teams, 7 teams

Upon completion of the entire RR, the top 4 teams based on overall performance will move to the playoffs.

Of those 4 teams, the top 2 teams based on overall performance will play for Gold and Silver (2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 1). The 3rd and 4th highest teams based on overall performance will play for Bronze (best 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 1).

******Brackets with 8 or more teams will be split into POOL PLAY.

Each pool will play a Single RR, 1 game to 15, win by 1.

Upon completion of the entire RR, the top 2 teams based on overall performance from EACH POOL will move to the playoffs. Of those 4 teams, the top 2 teams based on overall performance will play for Gold and Silver (2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 1). The 3rd and 4th highest teams based on overall performance will play for Bronze (best 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 1).

Registration is online only. For all events, registration is not complete until BOTH partners have registered, and PAID the entrance fees.

**Please note that PickleballBrackets.com service fees($5 per event) are NON REFUNDABLE.

All players must complete their registration by May 23, 2025 @ 11:55 pm.

For all Doubles events, players may enter as a team or look under "Players Needing Partners" to find a partner. PLEASE NOTE: If a partner has not completed their registration within 7 days of the first partner registering, the team will be automatically moved to the waitlist. When the identified partner registers after the 7 day period, the team will automatically move from the waitlist back to the active list.

If a player is in a bracket but does NOT have a partner by the end of registration (5/23/25), that player will be moved to the wait list. At this point, the player will NOT be part of the bracket BUT someone may pick up this person as a partner if they are in need of a teammate.

In the case of waitlists, teams will take priority over individuals.

COMPLETE registration means both team members have gone thru the registration process AND have paid in full. City of Prescott Parks and Rec waivers will need to be signed online when you register.

The Tournament Committee reserves the right to place players in the Skill Group based on their current club rating and/or Round Robin group participation. The Tournament Committee has the right to make changes to the tournament, combine divisions, or change and alter the format depending on the number of registrations received. Again, for merged brackets, only be ONE set of medals will be awarded.

Registrants withdrawing before Friday, May 23, 2025 @ 11:55 pm will be refunded (minus the PickleballBrackets.com service fee of $5 per registered event). There will be NO refunds after that date.
