Players will utilize "DUPR" rating from their player profile
Friday, August 22 - Women's Singles / Men's Singles - Afternoon / Evening Start Time
Saturday, August 23 - Mixed Doubles / Scramble Events - Start times begin at 9am
Sunday, August 24 - Men's Doubles / Women's Doubles - - Start times begin at 9am
Format:
ALL Round Robin with playoffs for Gold/Silver/Bronze. All games/matches are win by 2
Most Round Robins are 1 to 15 but may change based on the number of players in the event. If an event has 7 or 8 teams, round-robin matches may be 1 to 11 by 2.
Top 4 teams go to the playoff (Lead in matches are 1 to 15 with the Gold Match with the option of 2/3-11w/2 or 1 to 15. Bronze Match 1 to 15.
TD may combine brackets as needed to ensure quality play.
Tournament may close at any time if maximum daily numbers are met (even if some events appear to have openings)
Registration is easy and will take less than 5 minutes.
To Register:
First, you need to go to DUPR and set up a FREE account. (Required to use pickelball.com)
The go to pickleball.com and Create a FREE Profile.
You will be asked if you have an email with your DUPR account and after saying YES...
They will be LINKED together.
Then simply register on pickleball.com for the 2025 PPA Pennsylvania Amateur Championships under
the UNDER 3.0 SCRAMBLE Division.
Registration is $80 + $20 event fee = $100 (Women, You can play both events!, Just another $20 event fee (and service fee)).
But, because this is a new offering, you will receive a $50 REBATE to your credit card at the conclusion of the tournament (Monday August 25th).
So, if you want to feel the Tournament experience, but don’t think you are good enough,
or maybe a little intimidated, don't have a partner, then the UNDER 3.0 SCRAMBLE is the solution.
Just play a little PICKLE, have some FUN, and take home a MEDAL! Round Robin, No playoffs.
Note: This division is a non-qualifier for PPA Worlds.
