Participants who secure skill-level gold at a state championship are eligible for a complimentary registration fee to the 2025 Worlds Championship. This exclusive offer recognizes and rewards excellence in the Champions Division and ensures the best possible competition.

Divisions Offered

We are excited to offer a range of divisions to cater to players of varying age groups and skill levels:

Skill Levels: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0

Age Groups: 18U, 19+, 35+, 50+, 60+, 70+

Playing Divisions: MD, WD, MXD, MS, WS

Registration Starts

Early Registration (Jan/Feb) = $65 + event fees

Registration (Mar/Apr/May 1-26) = $80 + event fees

Late Registration (May 27 & Later) = $95 + event fees

All Doubles Events are $20 each

All Singles Events are $35 each

Players will utilize "DUPR" rating from their player profile

Friday, May 30 - Women's Singles / Men's Singles - Start times beginning at 1pm

Saturday, May 31 - Women's Doubles / Men's Doubles / Women's Scrambler (9am)

Sunday, June 1 - Mixed Doubles / Coed Scrambler (9am)

Format:

ALL Round Robin with playoffs for Gold/Silver/Bronze. All games/matches are win by 2

Most Round Robins are 1 to 15 but may change based on the number of players in the event. If an event has 7 or 8 teams, round-robin matches may be 1 to 11 by 2.

Top 4 teams go to the playoff (Lead in matches are 1 to 15 with the Gold Match with the option of 2/3-11w/2 or 1 to 15. Bronze Match 1 to 15.

TD may combine brackets as needed to ensure quality play.

Tournament may close at any time if maximum daily numbers are met (even if some events appear to have openings)

The new UNDER 3.0 SCRAMBLE division is designed to give everyone, especially those who do

not think they are ready for tournament play, an opportunity to play in a Pickleball tournament

and experience the fun that goes along with it.

The UNDER 3.0 SCRAMBLE is being offered on Sunday June 1st, 2025 as part of the 2025 PPA Texas Amateur Championships at the Pickleball Country Club in Houston, Texas.

The Sunday session is Co-ed. Partners will be

rotated so you might find yourself your future Doubles Partner, or just a new Pickleball friend.

Registration is easy and will take less than 5 minutes.

To Register:

First, you need to go to DUPR and set up a FREE account. (Required to use pickelball.com)

The go to pickleball.com and Create a FREE Profile.

You will be asked if you have an email with your DUPR account and after saying YES...

They will be LINKED together.

Then simply register on pickleball.com for the 2025 PPA Texas Amateur Championships under

the UNDER 3.0 SCRAMBLE Division.

Registration is $80 + $20 event fee = $100 (Women, You can play both days!, just another $20 event fee (and service fee)).

But, because this is a new offering, you will receive a $50 REBATE to your credit card at the conclusion of the tournament (Monday June 2nd).

So, if you want to feel the Tournament experience, but don’t think you are good enough,

or maybe a little intimidated, don't have a partner, then the UNDER 3.0 SCRAMBLE is the solution.

Just play a little PICKLE, have some FUN, and take home a MEDAL!

Note: This division is a non-qualifier for PPA Worlds.

If you withdraw before the CANCELLATION DEADLINE above, you will be issued a refund (with a $20 processing fee deducted). Refunds will be issued at the conclusion of the tournament. No refund of the Pickleball tournaments service fee.
