EVENT DATES:
December 4, 2026 - Men's Doubles and Night Family Doubles
December 5, 2026 - Mixed Doubles
December 6, 2026 - Women's Doubles
Age Brackets: Initial age brackets are 18-59, 60 and above. Final age bracketing will be determined based on registrations.
Family Bracket: Child 10-17, Adult 18+
(One adult 18+ who is a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, brother, sister, including steps and surrogates and one child 10-17)
FORMAT:
This is a NOT a USAP sanctioned event. This is a NON-Sanctioned ROUND ROBIN following the 2026 USA Pickleball Rules.
Tournament Ball: Diadem Pickleball
Round Robin either 1 game to 11, win by 2 switch ends at 6, or 1 game to 15 win by 2 switch ends at 8.
Following Pickle-icious Jingle Jam’s play tradition, this tournament will have playoffs for Gold, Silver and Bronze.
In the event of a win/loss tie, the following tiebreakers will be used in order: Head-to-Head then Point Differential
SKILL LEVELS:
3.0 = UTPR or DUPR or SELF RATING: 3.000 - 3.499
3.5 = UTPR or DUPR or SELF RATING: 3.500 - 3.999
4.0 = UTPR or DUPR or SELF RATING: 4.000 - 4.499
4.5 = UTPR or DUPR or SELF RATING: 4.500 - 4.999
Players may play in skill level events at, or 0.5 above, their rating at the time of registration. Players must LEVEL UP to the highest skill level on the team and AGE DOWN to the youngest player on the team.Players must use their current DUPR or initial self-rating, at the time of registration. Players may not play below their DUPR or initial self-rating on file.
Pickle-icious Jingle Jam will recognize national ratings from USA Pickleball Tournament Player Rating (UTPR) or Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating (DUPR)and SELF RATING. When registering players will only be allowed to sign up at skill level or 0.5 level above at the time of registration. We will not be recognizing the new UTR-Pickleball Rating (UTR-P) system for this tournament. We request honesty and integrity in selecting your skill level keeping in mind that the Pickle-icious Jingle Jam is a community fundraiser for We Care Tucson. Whereas it is a competition, the intent is to have fun while encouraging friendly and fair competition for a good cause. If you have a rating, please use it. Brackets are limited to no more than 12 teams per skill/age event or when the tournament director deems the courts are at capacity for the day. Additional teams will be put on the wait list and admitted if space permits.
You have one day for your partner to sign up before being moved to the waitlist. Order on the waitlist is determined by date and time of the first player of the team's registration. Therefore, entry of the team is not complete until BOTH team members create their online registrations & pay their fees. You will automatically be moved back into the event once your partner registers and pays, if there is still room in the event.
All fees and waivers must be submitted prior to the start of the tournament.
The Pickle-icious Jingle Jam is a FUNdraiser benefiting We Care Tucson and follows 2025 USA Pickleball Rules in a non-USAP sanctioned Round Robin format.
Tournament Director reserves the right to combine or split events, close events when courts are at capacity even if event is not full, and change format based on enrollment.

The Home Court Paddle Battle is an optional side competition. Teams represent their club, courts, APPL team, or group of friends. No extra matches or fees, just check the box when registering. Each point scored adds to your team’s total. Top Men’s, Women’s & Mixed teams win the Traveling Trophy. Limited to 5 teams per division so REGISTER EARLY!!
WHAT IT IS
A light-hearted, brag-worthy competition where players represent their pickleball club, home courts, APPL team, or just a group of friends. It runs alongside the regular Jingle Jam Round Robin. At the end of the tournament, one Men’s, one Women’s, and one Mixed Doubles Home Court Paddle Battle Champion team will be crowned, earning a traveling trophy to display for the next year.
WHAT IT’S NOT
A separate event with extra matches, extra fees, or mandatory participation. You can still play as usual for Gold, Silver, and Bronze in your age/skill bracket without joining a Home Court team.
HOW IT WORKS
• A Home Court Team = 5 doubles teams (10 players) registered for the Jingle Jam.
• Teams can represent courts, clubs, APPL teams, or friend groups—age and skill levels don’t matter.
• Courts/clubs/APPL teams or friend groups can enter one, two, or all three divisions: Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Doubles.
• When you and your partner register for the Jingle Jam, pick your age/skill bracket as usual.
• To join the Paddle Battle, check the box and select your court/club from the drop-down list (or write one in).
• Matches are played in a normal Round Robin format.
• Every point you and your partner score also adds to your Home Court team’s cumulative total.
• Highest total in each division = Champion + Traveling Trophy + Year-long bragging rights.
• Results announced daily and posted online.
IMPORTANT NOTES
• No extra matches. No extra fees. Just extra pride.
• Limited spots: Only the first 5 Home Court Teams per division can enter. First come, first served—register early!
