Welcome to Parkland Pickleheads 2026 Season Opener Tournament.
** EYE PROTECTION IS MANDATORY FOR ALL JUNIORS **
Tournament Dates: June 19-21, 2026
Registration Opens: April 7, 2026 @ 7pm
Registration Closes: May 15th, 2026 @ 7pm
This is a Pickleball Canada sanctioned tournament. DUPR ratings will be used for this tournament so please ensure you have a DUPR account and rating before registering.
Details are as follows:
- Entry Fee: $65.00/player plus $20.00 per event.
- Friday: Women's Doubles 9am-7pm
- Saturday: Mixed Doubles 9am-7pm
- Sunday: Men's Doubles 9am-7pm
FORMAT:
Round-robin format with the top four teams from each division participating in a playoff/medal round.
SCORING:
1st to 15 points for round robin format, win by 2.
Medal matches - Gold - Best 2 out of 3 games, to 11 points win by 2. Bronze - 1 game to 15, win by 2.
Teams must play at the skill level of the highest rated partner and in the age category of the youngest player. Players are not allowed to play at a lower level than current DUPR Rating.
- All Matches will be refereed.
- Medals will be awarded to the top three teams in each (combined) bracket.
- Tournament Ball will be the outdoor yellow Selkirk Pro S1.
