This is a SENIOR ONLY Tournament! Senior is defined by USSP at age 50, however, there will be on opportunity for players 45 -49 to join USSP and participate in their age bracket. All players are encouraged to join US Senior Pickleball to compete with similar age/skill level players and to enjoy discounts on future tournaments. Saturday, Sept. 12 - Men's & Women's Doubles 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5
Sunday, Sept. 13 - Mixed Doubles 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5
Tournament will be played in Round Robin format. Skill level/Age division groups will play against each other in a round robin format with top seeds then advancing to the medal round. It is our goal that each group will complete play within 3 hours.
RATINGS: USSP ratings will be used for ages 50+. In the absence of a USSP rating, then DUPR is used, then Self-Rating. Scores will be submitted to both USSP & DUPR.
SELF-SCORING & MOBILE PHONE:
This tournament will use Pickleball.com “Self Scoring.” Players should bring their mobile device with internet connection, be logged into their Pickleball.com account, and have text messages “turned on” in their Pickleball.com Profile.
Your spot in the tournament is not guaranteed until your partner has registered and all fees have been paid in full. Both players must register and pay individually to be registered as a team.
Asheville Racquet Club adheres to the guidelines set forth in the USA Pickleball Rulebook. All gameplay, officiating, and judgment decisions during our events are based on these rules to ensure consistency and fairness for all players. In addition, ARC allows paddles that are on the official USA Pickleball paddle list.
