Tournament Details:
Scoring Format: Traditional (Side out) scoring unless weather/time dictates a need to change formats. TD will make final decision
Score Tracking: Pickleball Charleston will record All game scores in DUPR.
Event Combining: Depending on the number of teams-
Events may be combined or expanded based on skill level or age to ensure a better playing experience.
Players may enter both gender doubles and mixed brackets as start times are on separate days.
Bracket Formation:
Initial Setup: Teams will first compete in a Round Robin format.
Skill Level Adjustments: In a rare occasion, some Skill levels may be mixed during the Round Robin. After this phase, teams will be split back up for medal rounds.
Bracket Format:
The specific format for each bracket will be determined based on the number of teams and will be provided a week before the event.

Friday evening's First Responder/Civilian “Pro-Am” King of Court:
We will run a NON-REPORTED fun event to give the public the opportunity to play with local First Responders.
24 First responders will be supplied to play with 24 participants in a relaxed and fun “King of the Court”
Event.
KOTC format will be each responder plays with a civilian. The team that wins moves up a court and splits and the losers move down a court and splits. The First Responders will always be paired with a civilian but will get to play with many different partners against varying opponents.
This will be a timed event with 6 rounds of 15 minute games. At the end- whoever is the winner of the top court is the “King of the Court”
This event is separate of the main registration and regular events and can be purchased independently.
100% (KOTC) going back to the charity minus Pickleball.com and stripe fees.

There will be "Open Play" available after the conclusion of the KOTC if you would like to practice and/or challenge some of your local First Responders to some friendly competition !
