In conjunction with PickleCon, Military Adaptive Court Sports (MACS) is hosting a two-day pickleball tournament with the support of Pickleball Galaxy and Gearbox to raise money and support the mission of MACS. Divisions will be offered for Men's, Women's and Mixed Doubles with divisions broken down by age and DUPR rating. Event start times listed are subject to change based on the number of entries per division.
MACS is a veteran based non-profit organization dedicated to promoting therapeutic adaptive sports including pickleball, racquetball, badminton, table-tennis, and padel; with a focus on veterans and injured service members afflicted by Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), amputation, Spinal-Cord Injuries (SCI), and substance/alcohol abuse due to the negative effects of combat exposure. MACS is committed to providing programming to help heal invisible wounds from combat that veterans have sustained while serving this country. MACS successfully achieves this mission by bringing adaptive court sports opportunities directly to veterans and injured active-duty service members through local and community venues since 2009.
