Lake Norman Pickleball Club is excited to host a full weekend of competitive pickleball this August!
Join us Friday, August 21st, for our first-ever Moneyball event, followed by Lake Norman Cup 2.0 on Saturday, August 22nd, and Sunday, August 23rd.
We’re excited to bring players together for a full weekend of competitive, well-matched games, great energy, and an outstanding tournament atmosphere inside our Mooresville indoor facility. We can’t wait to see everyone out on the courts!
Registration opens: June 29, 2026 at 8:00 PM
Registration closes: August 16, 2026 at 11:55 PM
ENTRY FEES
The entry fee is $45 per player for one event.
The entry fee for the Moneyball is $50 per player, no member discounts.
Players who wish to compete in multiple events may add additional events for $20 per event.
All players must register individually on PickleballBrackets.com and complete payment during the check-in process at the tournament. Both partners on a team must register and pay separately.
Please note that PickleballBrackets.com charges a $5 service fee, which is separate from the tournament entry fee.
DIVISION PLACEMENT
All divisions will be monitored by staff to help keep play fair and balanced. DUPR ratings and LNPC ratings may be used when reviewing division placement.
Players may be moved into the appropriate division based on skill level. If partners’ skill levels are not equal, the team will be placed in the division of the higher-rated player.
This is to help prevent sandbagging and create the best possible matchups throughout the tournament.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Check-in opens 30 minutes before each division start time.
All teams are guaranteed 5 matches.
Round Robin Play: Games to 11, win by 2
Semi-Finals: Games to 11, win by 2
Medal Matches: Best 2 out of 3 games to 11 OR 1 game to 15, depending on division size and timing

Start times are approximate and subject to change based on registration numbers. Final schedules and start times will be emailed to players at least 24 hours before the tournament.
