**USA PICKLEBALL SANCTIONED TOURNAMENT**
The North Sector Winter Classic is an officially sanctioned USA Pickleball tournament and the first USA Pickleball-sanctioned tournament hosted by Ohio Social Sports!
You must have a valid, current USA Pickleball Challenger or Champion level membership to register, and your membership must not expire before the last day of the tournament. Include your membership number in your PickleballTournaments player profile and link your USAP membership to your profile.

This tournament participates in USA Pickleball's Tiered Point System (TPS), which rewards eligible players with points for participating and additional points based on tournament performance. TPS points accumulate through sanctioned competition and can help players become eligible to compete at USA Pickleball Nationals. The number of points available depends on the tournament's TPS tier, including factors such as tournament size and referee format.
**US SENIOR PICKLEBALL (USSP)**
The North Sector Winter Classic is also being held as a US Senior Pickleball tournament for the 50 and 60 divisions, giving senior competitors an additional opportunity to participate in organized tournament competition.
Active US Senior Pickleball members will receive a $10 discount on tournament registration.
To receive the USSP discount, players must have an active USSP membership and provide any membership information needed to verify eligibility.
**SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY FOR RICHLAND COUNTY SENIORS AGE 60+**
Through funding provided by the Area Agency on Aging Social Isolation & Loneliness Grant, eligible Richland County seniors age 60 and older may apply to have their participation in the North Sector Winter Classic funded by the grant.
Approved participants can receive:
• FREE tournament registration for up to two events
• Up to $50 in pickleball gear/equipment
This opportunity is intended to help reduce barriers to participation and give more Richland County seniors the opportunity to stay active, build social connections, and participate in the local pickleball community.
Grant funding is limited and subject to eligibility and availability. Richland County seniors age 60+ who would like to participate must complete the grant application through Ohio Social Sports at:

Applicants should complete the grant application and receive approval from Ohio Social Sports before registering for the tournament using their own funds.
REGISTRATION FEES
-First Event: $65
-Second Event: $25
Players participating in two events will pay a total tournament registration fee of $90 + website feeds ($5-$10).
Active USSP members receive a $10 registration discount.
The Tournament Director reserves the right to combine skill and/or age divisions when necessary to ensure viable brackets and quality competition.
Players are responsible for registering in the appropriate division and ensuring that all registration, USA Pickleball membership, and applicable USSP membership information is accurate and current.
**PLAYER CHECK-IN**
Players should arrive and check in at least **30 minutes before their scheduled start time**. We will communicate specific start times and tournament schedules after registration closes and brackets are finalized.
Please monitor your email and the tournament registration page leading up to the event for schedule updates, bracket information, and other important tournament communications.
**MEDALS**
Medals will be awarded to top finishers based on bracket size and tournament format.
