Welcome to Parkland Pickleheads 2025 Season Opener Tournament. We are capping our registration numbers this year so our tournament days can be shorter. Please register early to secure a spot.

Tournament Dates: June 20-22, 2025

Registration Opens: April 7, 2025 @ 7pm

Registration Closes: May 15th, 2025 @ 7pm

This is a Pickleball Canada SANCTIONED tournament. As this is a PCO Sanctioned tournament, CTPR ratings will be used. Players are allowed to play up to 1.0 level from current CTPR rating. So, if you're a 3.0 rated CTPR player, you may play 3.0, 3.5, or 4.0.

Details are as follows:

- Entry Fee: $70.00/player plus $15.00 per event.

BRACKET FORMATS:

1-3 Teams - Combined with another bracket(s) of same skill level if possible. Otherwise may cancel.

4-5 teams - Round Robin 1 game to 15, win by 2, based on circumstances (ex. time, weather)

6+ teams - Traditional double-elimination bracket (matches are best 2/3 to 11 on the “A” side of the draw, win by 2). On the “B” side of the draw, each match will consist of 1 game to 15, win by 2.

- Medals will be awarded to the top three teams in each (combined) bracket.

- Tournament Ball will be the outdoor yellow Selkirk Pro S1.

**The tournament director reserves the right to add, combine, modify, or cancel skill levels/events pending registration numbers. Events can also be rescheduled/cancelled as needed pending weather and other outside influences beyond our control (ie. Covid restrictions).**

A registration is considered complete when the Team is complete. BOTH players must register within 2 days of the first player's registration OR the team will be moved to the Wait List.

***YOUR PLAYER PROFILE- should have "Receive in game text messages" checked to "YES" AND Cell Carrier should be selected. This is how you will receive your game notifications and court assignments. FAILURE TO SHOW UP ON TIME FOR YOUR GAMES WILL RESULT IN A FORFEIT***. Please arrive a minimum of 30 mins prior to the start of your event.

Player requested withdrawals will be accepted until May 15th, 2025 at 7pm, with a full refund less $15 administration fee.

After May 15th, 2025 at 7pm, NO refunds will be provided. NO EXCEPTIONS!
