Final pool sizes and bracket sizes will be decided after registration closes.
*Format is subject to change as TD deems necessary, however 4 games minimum are guaranteed to all players, with most getting between 5 and 12 games per event*
DUPR Requirements and Enforcement:
In an effort to make all games as close, fair, and fun as possible, DUPR requirements will be strictly enforced. There will be no sandbagging here!
○ All Players must have a DUPR account to register.
○ All divisions require teams to have an Average DUPRs within the proper range based on rating at end of registration period:
○ Playing Down: No team will be permitted to play in a division below their current Team average DUPR rating (sandbagging). TD will be monitoring this periodically and will move you up to the proper division in this situation without asking.
○ Playing Up: Teams in which the average DUPR is below the division threshold will be allowed to play up a division for the 2.5, 3.0, 3.5 divisions. For the higher divisions, your team must have the following to play up:
1) the higher rated player on team has a rating in the proper range of the division
2) the lower rated player is within .5 DUPR rating of the lower threshold. This essentially prevents teams from skipping two whole divisions, which can make pool play unfair for those in the proper division.
○ If you are unrated that is ok. You will be added to the lowest rated division for the event you choose.
○ No exceptions!
***IF YOUR DIVISION IS FULL PLEASE JOIN WAITLIST ASAP - we will be adding a few more spots to divisions based on the waitlist so this will increase your chance to play!!***
**PLEASE NOTE: Due to undetermined division sizes, times will not be set until after registration closes**
