DESCRIPTION:

Westridge Wolf Willow Country Club Community league (WWWCCCL) will host the 2025 Season Opener at the Westridge courts.

This is a FUN tournament and the results will NOT impact your DUPR rating!!

FEES:

Early Bird Registration: $50.00 (up until March 31, 2025)

Regular Registration: $65.00 (from April 1 to April 18, 2025)

Youth (16 and under): $25.00 (Early Bird), $35 (Regular). Junior discount is applied at checkout.

Your entry fee includes registration for one category (event) in the tournament.

Add $15 for each additional event.

Registration is considered complete when the team information is complete and paid in full. For doubles and 3v3 events players must register within 2 days of the first player's registration, or the team will be moved to the waitlist.

Friday April 25, 2025

Men's Doubles Skill level 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5(+). Events (If needed a 5.0+ level will be created)

Women Doubles Skill level 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5(+). Events (If needed a 5.0+ level will be created)

for age groups (12-49, 50-64, and 65+)

Saturday, April 26, 2025:

Mixed doubles Events all day, Skill level 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5(+). Events (If needed a 5.0+ level will be created)

for age groups (12-49, 50-64, and 65+)

Our Famous 3 V 3 team Skill level 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5+. Events

for different age groups (12-49, and 50+) (Minimum 1 Woman on the team)

2 players (min. 1 woman) will register as a team and the 3rd player will register by contacting Gaby and e-transfer the registration fees for this event to qex@shaw.ca.

The tournament director reserves the right to modify/merge the events, schedule as needed.

FORMAT:

All events will be in a Round Robin format.

The top-two teams at the end of the round robin will play for Gold and the 3rd and 4th teams play for the Bronze. Unless many teams register then a pool play will be considered.

All pre-medal matches, and the Bronze medal matches will be one game to 15, win by 2 points. The Gold medal matches will be best two-out-of-three games, Games to 11 win by 2 points.

***YOUR PLAYER PROFILE- should have "Receive in game text messages" checked to "YES" AND Cell Carrier should be selected. This is how you will receive your game notifications and court assignments. FAILURE TO SHOW UP ON TIME FOR YOUR GAMES WILL RESULT IN A FORFEIT**

The GRAND DUELING PIANO SHOW (Not included in the tournament fees!!)

The show will take place on Friday, April 25, 2025

Tournament players will enjoy a discounted entry fee ($25 per player) for the show (Reg. $40)

Show fees will be collected separately then the tournament fees in advance of the show since the Hall has a limited capacity. The show will be open for for registration to all interested patrons whether they are playing in the tournament or not. More details will be sent out separately.

REFUND POLICY:

Player requested withdrawals will be accepted until March 31 at 6pm, with a full refund less a $20 administration fee.

After March 31, 2025 at 6pm, no refunds will be provided. NO EXCEPTIONS!

WEATHER:

PLEASE NOTE: This is an outdoor event with no make-up date. In the event of inclement weather that requires the cancellation of any events, a refund is NOT available. If events are in mid play when a weather or unforeseen circumstance occurs the situation will be evaluated on a case by case basis to determine if the event may be finished or if winners may be determined.
