The Chico Open Cash Cup will offer up to $5,000 in total cash prizes across designated Open divisions.
Cash prize divisions include:
* Men’s Open Doubles: up to $1,000
* Women’s Open Doubles: up to $1,000
* Mixed Open Doubles: up to $1,000
* Senior Men’s Open Doubles: up to $500
* Senior Women’s Open Doubles: up to $500
* Senior Mixed Open Doubles: up to $500
* Men’s Open Singles: up to $250
* Women’s Open Singles: up to $250
Cash prize divisions will use a winner-take-all payout structure. The champion team/player in each eligible cash division will receive the full prize pool for that division.
For doubles divisions, the prize payout is awarded per team, not per player. For singles divisions, the prize payout is awarded to the individual champion.
Cash divisions will be played using a double-elimination format with complete come around. A team/player must lose twice to be eliminated. If the undefeated finalist loses the first championship match, a final reset match will be played to determine the division champion.

Full advertised prize pools require minimum registration in each respective division.
Main Open Doubles Divisions
Men’s Open Doubles, Women’s Open Doubles, and Mixed Open Doubles:
* 10+ teams: full $1,000 prize pool
* 8–9 teams: $750 prize pool
* 6–7 teams: $500 prize pool
* 4–5 teams: $300 prize pool
* 3 or fewer teams: division may be combined, modified, or may not be eligible for a cash payout
Senior Open Doubles Divisions
Senior Men’s Open Doubles, Senior Women’s Open Doubles, and Senior Mixed Open Doubles:
* 8+ teams: full $500 prize pool
* 6–7 teams: $300 prize pool
* 4-5 teams: $200 prize pool
* 3 or fewer teams: division may be combined, modified, or may not be eligible for a cash payout
Open Singles Divisions
Men’s Open Singles and Women’s Open Singles:
* 8+ players: full $250 prize pool
* 6–7 players: $150 prize pool
* 4–5 players: $100 prize pool
* 3 or fewer players: division may be combined, modified, or may not be eligible for a cash payout
All cash prizes are contingent upon final registration numbers in each respective division. The Tournament Director reserves the right to combine divisions, adjust bracket formats, modify prize payouts, or remove cash payouts based on final registration numbers, bracket viability, and tournament operations.
