A New Path for Florida’s Young Pickleball Players - we are now offering a JUNIOR division.
There are many talented young pickleball players across Florida who are looking for more opportunities to compete, improve and feel connected to something bigger. The All Florida Pro League wants to help create that pathway.
The new All Florida Pickleball Circuit, or AFPC, gives players the chance to begin competing now. AFPC features three-player teams, doubles competition and divisions ranging from 3.0 through Open. Events will take place in different Florida communities throughout the end of 2026 and into early 2027.
For young players, these events are a great way to gain experience before the first AFPL Juniors season begins. Players can learn how to compete as a team, play against new opponents and become familiar with the AFPL community. They may also have opportunities to meet AFPL players, coaches and team owners along the way.
AFPL Juniors will take the next step by giving players ages 10–17 the opportunity to represent one of the eight established AFPL professional teams.
Following the April 10, 2027 tryout and combine, 32 junior players will be selected. Each AFPL team will have a four-player junior roster that competes in seven statewide league events using an MLP-style format.
AFPC and AFPL Juniors are designed to work together.
Players can compete in AFPC events now, gain valuable match experience and continue developing their game. They can then attend the AFPL Juniors tryout and combine with a better understanding of team competition and what it means to be part of the AFPL.
We do not want young players to feel like they have to wait until next year to get involved. The journey can begin now.
Build a team. Enter an AFPC event. Compete against players from across Florida. Learn from every match and begin preparing for the opportunity to represent an AFPL professional team.
Our goal is to give young athletes a place to compete, grow and feel supported as they pursue the game they love.
AFPL Juniors registration opens January 4, 2027.
Come play with us now and begin building toward what comes next.
