Games will be played on Indoor Beynon Multipurpose PolyTurf Plus SP Courts with permanent lines and temporary nets. Beynon Multipurpose PolyTurf Plus SP Courts is a brand new surface that plays like wood for Basketball.
Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be awarded to the top 3 teams in each division
All attendees will be responsible for their own drinks and food. No drinks or food will be provided.
Registration includes athlete t-shirt ($60 for first event, $5 2nd event)
Registration fee includes a $10 donation that goes directly to ElderCare of Alachua County. Donation is NONREFUNDABLE.
Entry Regulations:
a. The division of competition will be determined by the following rankings and age groups:
i. Rankings: 2.5 (beginner friendly!!), 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0/Open ("Open" division is reserved for advanced players or any level and any age
ii. Age groups within rankings: 40 & Under, 41-60, 61 & Over (AGE DETERMINED BY THE AGE YOU WILL BE ON 12/31/2023)
**DEPENDING ON REGISTRATION NUMBERS, THE 41-60 AGE GROUP MAY CHANGE. 41-60 MIGHT BE BROKEN DOWN INTO 41-50 AND 51-60. THE REGISTRATION SYSTEM WILL ONLY HAVE THE THREE GROUPS LISTED ABOVE, BUT DEPENDING ON REGISTRATION, THE EVENT DIRECTOR MAY BREAK UP THE 41-60 AGE GROUP. **
iii. Age group will be determined by the age of the youngest player
iv. The registration system only recognizes your age, not your partners age, when selecting a division. When registration closes, we will adjust your age division based on the age of the youngest player.
b. Each partner must register separately.
c. Competitors must bring their own paddles. Pickleballs will be provided for matches
d. The ball and the pen must be returned with your score sheet or the score will not be counted.
