3V3 Description:
Create a team of 3 players (All Men or All Women). Then add your DUPR ratings to determine which division to register for.
Each team will be scheduled for a minimum of 3 matches. A match consists of 3 games, with each player participating in 2 games (team captains set the lineup), therefore each player is scheduled for 6 games (more if you make the playoffs). The team that wins at least 2 games wins the match.
If you DO NOT have a rating or you only have a handful of games and you feel your rating is high/low, please let the Tournament Director know what your rating should be. This will help us put you in the most competitive group for your level.
1. Combine Ratings: Add all 3 players’ ratings together.
- Example: Your ratings are 3.5, 3.75 and 4.25 your combined rating is 11.5.
2. Determine Bracket: Based on the total rating:
- If the combined rating is under 12, you register for the DUPR 12 bracket.
- If the combined rating is 12 or higher, you would register for a higher bracket, depending on the total rating.
3. No Rating Scenario: If you do not have a rating when you register:
- Please register for the bracket that best fits your current team skill level and contact the tournament director if you have any questions.
4. DUPR 10 = Avg rating between 3.0-4.0.
DUPR 12 = Avg rating between 3.5-4.5.
DUPR 13 = Avg rating between 3.75-4.75.

Mixed Doubles: One Man and One Women
Bracket Ratings: 3.0 = Under 3.5 - 3.5 = Under 4.0 - 4.0 = Under 4.5. Register for the bracket according to the highest rated Partner.
Example: If the partners are a 3.3 and a 3.7, they should register for 3.5.
*** Can "play up" but no more than .5 above rating (A 3.4 can play 3.5 but not 4.0) TD may make an override if low reliability exist on a case by case basis.

Road to 5.0 Series: This is an All New Series presented by Pickleball Charleston. For those 4.5 players that are “on the road to 5.0” and are looking for competitive tournament formats and chance to win money.
To participate in this bracket your rating needs to be between 4.25 and 5.25 (only ONE player on a team can be over 5.0). If you are below 4.25 or above 5.25 and register for the event you will be automatically refunded your registration minus $10.
Format: Round Robin into a Single Elimination Bracket
Round Robin Games: Standard Scoring to 11 win by 2
1x Bracket Games: Standard Scoring to 15 win by 2. Championship Match is best of 3 (11 by 2)
