The Tom Burkhart Magnolia Classic is a two-day tournament event held at Lott Park in Daphne, AL. USA Pickleball MMP Sanctioned event honoring Mr. Tom Burkhart, who has been greatly responsible for the growth of pickleball in the Southeast and Midsouth regions. This pickleball pioneer also has been a huge presence on the national stage and deserves our recognition and appreciation. Be aware that this is a skill/age based competition. Brackets may be combined to facilitate play. We will group by skill first and ages as close together as possible. The format will be round robin. If brackets grow too large, pool play will be implemented and the top 2 teams from each pool will advance to play off rounds for medals. THIS IS A USA PICKLEBALL SANCTIONED EVENT. PLAYERS MUST HAVE A CURRENT USA PICKLEBALL MEMBERSHIP VALID THRU 11/26/23 IN ORDER TO REGISTER.

The $5 "per event" fee was NOT our idea. (And there's nothing we can do about it)

Souvenir item, water and snacks will be provided. Food trucks will be available for purchasing lunch.

We will have a block of rooms at a Daphne Hilton-family hotel. Stay tuned for details.

Valid Medical Excuse ONLY. When you withdraw, the Tournament Operators *still* get charged an event Fee. Please don't withdraw.

In the event of inclement weather, we will do everything we can to continue play to completion. We will not be rescheduling.
