Tournament Description
Pickle For Progress is Black River United Way's pickleball tournament, festival, and fundraiser. This event combines fun, camaraderie, and wellness associated with the sport of pickleball to raise support for Black River United Way's mission and two main initiatives - early childhood success and disaster resiliency.
Pickle For Progress will be hosted at East Bay Park (515 E. Bay St., Georgetown, SC 29440) and will include Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles, Mixed Doubles Age 66 and Above, and Mixed Doubles Age 65 and Under Tournaments, with player ranking divisions of 2.5 and under, 3.0 and under, 3.5 and under, and 4.0 and under.
In addition to the tournament, food trucks, vendors, and activities will be available for both players and spectators to enjoy.

We empower our communities by working collaboratively to improve early childhood success and ensuring our community members are prepared for disasters.

Refund Policy
All registration refund requests made before September 1st are eligible for a 50% refund (less Pickleballbrackets.com $5 processing fee). Transferred or additional registrations will incur a $5 fee from pickleballbrackets.com. All registration refund requests made after September 1st are not eligible for a refund.

Weather
If inclement weather results in the cancellation of the event (scheduled for Saturday, September 28th, 2024), a rain date will be scheduled for Sunday, September 29th 2024. Should inclement weather result in cancellation of the rain date, the event will be rescheduled for the following weekend.
