<b>FORMAT:<b>
Minor League Pickleball is an innovative team competition where teams compete against each other in an engaging format, with twists on traditional match-ups and scoring for games, matches, and tiebreakers. Teams compete against each other in Matches using the MiLP Team Format:
MiLP is an ingenious gameplay format that brings men and women together on a level playing court. In the MiLP format team matches are composed of four 21-point games, one women’s doubles, a men’s doubles, and the final two games consisting of mixed doubles. If both teams are tied at 2-2 after the 4 games are played, they’ll go to a Dreambreaker™! In a Dreambreaker™ one person from each team plays singles against the other team’s player, switching players every four rallies until someone gets to 21 and wins by two points. Teams will compete in a round robin to bracket playoffs format, with a guarantee of a minimum three full matches.
The Dink Minor League Pickleball Guarantee: Predictable playing times and reduced waiting periods between matches. Guaranteed 6 played games with at least 3 matches each. A fair, level-based competitive experience - whatever your level of play!
<b>SCHEDULE and TIMES:<b>
Check in will start at 7:30am each morning, with the courts also being available for warm-up.
Briefings will be at 8:15am
Games will commence at 8:30am
Medal Presentations are expected to be around 6:30pm each evening depending on how the games flow during the day.
Friday 31st July - DUPR14(50+) and DUPR16(50+)
Saturday 1st August - DUPR14 and DUPR16
Sunday 2nd AUgust - DUPR12 and DUPR18
Maximum of 8 teams per Division, played in pools of 4, with the top two teams of each pool going into the play-off brackets.
