Nouveauté: La balle ONYX jaune intérieure sera utilisée pour jouer sur les surfaces synthétiques des deux centres sportifs
L’Association régionale de pickleball de l’Outaouais dont le tournoi est sanctionné par la Fédération québécoise de pickleball et Pickleball Canada, est heureuse de vous présenter le tournoi Gatineau Open 2026 qui aura lieu le samedi 14 novembre 2026 (double masculin et double féminin) et le dimanche 15 novembre 2026 (double mixte et possiblement deux épreuves en double masculin soit le 3.5 ouvert et 4.0 ouvert le matin - à confirmer) au Centre sportif de Gatineau (11 terrains) situé au 850 Boulevard de la Gappe, Gatineau et au Centre communautaire Père Arthur Guertin (4 terrains) situé au 16 rue Bériault, Gatineau. Le Centre communautaire Père Arthur Guertin est situé à environ 10 minutes du Centre sportif de Gatineau.
LE SYSTÈME DE CLASSEMENT <b>DUPR</b> SERA UTILISÉ POUR CE TOURNOI. VOUS DEVEZ DONC OBLIGATOIREMENT AVOIR VOTRE COMPTE DUPR LORS DE VOTRE INSCRIPTION. POUR CEUX QUI N'ONT PAS DE COMPTE DUPR, VOUS ALLEZ DANS VOTRE PROFILE DE JOUEUR DANS PICKLEBALL BRACKETS, CLIQUEZ SUR EDIT PROFILE ET ENSUITE SUR DUPR ET SAUVEGARDER APRÈS AVOIR CRÉÉ VOTRE COMPTE.

<strong>Aperçu :</strong>
Trois (3) épreuves : Double masculin, double féminin, double mixte.
Trois (3) catégories : Ouvert, 50 ans et plus, 60 ans et plus (âge au 31 décembre 2026)
Trois (3) niveaux de jeu : 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 et +
Un joueur ne peut participer qu’à deux épreuves. soit un double et un double mixte.
<strong>Inscriptions :</strong>
Date d’ouverture des inscriptions : 1er octobre 2026 17h00.
Date de fermeture des inscriptions : 1er novembre 2026.
<strong>Coût :</strong>
L'inscription au tournoi est 55$ par joueur et inclus la participation à une épreuve. Vous pouvez vous inscrire à une deuxième épreuve au coût de 25$ par joueur.
Éligibilité des joueurs : Il faut être membre de Pickleball Canada à la date d’inscription. Un membre de la fédération québécoise de pickleball ou Pickleball Ontario est aussi automatiquement membre de Pickleball Canada. Le joueur doit avoir son numéro de membre de Pickleball Canada au moment de l’inscription ; le directeur du tournoi n'a pas cette information.
Le directeur du tournoi ne peut inscrire des joueurs ou réserver des places si vous avez un problème technique au moment de l'inscription et ne pouvez pas vous inscrire. Nous ferons cependant un suivi avec Pickleball Brackets et Pickleball Canada et essaierons de résoudre le problème dès que possible.
<strong>Débuts des périodes</strong>
Les parties prévues en matinée débuteront à 8h30 (Centre sportif) et à 9h (Père Arthur Guertin). Pratique et réchauffement dès 8h00 (Centre sportif) et 8h30 (Père Arthur Guertin). Celles prévues en après-midi débuteront vers 13h30 mais les heures pourraient varier selon l’horaire final et le déroulement du tournoi.
Format : Tournoi à la ronde (groupe de 4 équipes par catégorie d'âge et de niveau de jeu).
Nombre d’équipes : Maximum d'équipes par catégorie d'âge et par niveau de jeu (8 équipes). Minimum de 4 équipes pour la tenue d’une épreuve.
Le comité organisateur se réserve le droit de placer les joueurs dans le niveau de jeu approprié. Les catégories peuvent changer selon les inscriptions reçues et la disponibilité des terrains. Le comité organisateur se réserve le droit d'annuler des inscriptions s'il n'y a pas suffisamment de joueurs pour former un pool. Le critère utilisé sera la date d'enregistrement de l'équipe. Par exemple, nous pouvons être amenés à fusionner des événements pour atteindre un nombre minimum d'équipes pour un événement. Les changements de catégories sont faits vers un niveau supérieur ou un groupe d'âge inférieur. Les équipes touchées par un changement seront contactées pour acceptation du changement.
Vêtements : L'habillement en jaune ne sera pas accepté.
Pointage : Toutes les parties seront de 15 points sauf les parties pour la ronde des médailles qui seront des 2 de 3 de 11 points.
Balles : Onyx jaune intérieure
Hôtel : Il y a deux hôtels près du Centre sportif à distance de marche, soit le Comfort Inn (819-243-6010) et le Holiday Inn (819-503-8800). Voir section Lodging pour de plus amples informations. Nous avons obtenu des prix spéciaux. Cependant, il y a des dates limites pour les réservations à ce tarif spécial.

The Outaouais Pickleball Regional Association (ARPO) is pleased to hold its tournament Gatineau Open 2026, which is sanctioned by the Fédération québécoise de pickleball and Pickleball Canada on November 14, 2026 (Men's doubles and women's doubles) and on Sunday Novembre 15, 2026 (Mixed doubles and most likely two mens double events (3.5 open and 4.0 open) in the morning – to be confirmed) at the Gatineau sports center located at 850 Boulevard de la Gappe, Gatineau, QC (11 courts) and at the Community Center Père Arthur Guertin located at 16 rue Bériault, Gatineau, QC (4 courts). The Community Center Père Arthur Guertin is about 10 minutes from the Gatineau sports center.
THE <b>DUPR</b> RATING SYSTEM WILL BE USED FOR THIS TOURNAMENT. YOU MUST THEREFORE HAVE YOUR DUPR ACCOUNT AT THE TIME OF THE REGISTRATION. FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT HAVE A DUPR ACCOUNT, GO TO YOUR PLAYER PROFILE IN PICKLEBALL BRACKETS, CLICK ON EDIT PROFILE, THEN ON DUPR, AND SAVE AFTER CREATING YOUR ACCOUNT.
<strong>Medals:</strong> Gold, silver and bronze medals for each event.
<strong>Overview</strong>
Three (3) events: Men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles.
Three (3) age groups: Open, 50 years old and above, 60 years old and above (age as of December 31, 2026)
Three (3) skills levels: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and +
A player can only play in two events i.e. one double and one mixed.
<strong>Registrations:</strong>
Opening registration date: October 1, 2026, 5 P.M.
Closing registration date: November 1st, 2026.
<strong>Cost :</strong>
To cost of registration to the tournament is $55 per player, and includes the participation to one event. You can participate to a second event, for an additional $25 per player.
Player eligibility: Must be a member of Pickleball Canada at time of registration. A member of the Quebec Pickleball Federation or Pickleball Ontario is also automatically a member of Pickleball Canada. The player must have his Pickleball Canada membership number at the time of registration; the tournament director does not have this information.
The Tournament Director cannot register players or reserve spots if you have a technical problem at the time of registration and cannot register. We will, however, follow up with Pickleball Brackets and Pickleball Canada and try to resolve the problem as soon as possible.
<strong>Starting times</strong>
Morning games start at 8:30 a.m (Centre sportif) and 9h (Centre Père Arthur Guertin). Practice and warm-up at 8:00 a.m (Centre sportif) and 8h30 (Centre Père Arthur Guertin). Afternoon games will start around 1:30 p.m., but times may vary depending on the final schedule and the progress of the tournament.
Format: Round robin (groups of 4 teams per age category and level of play).
Number of teams: Maximum number of teams per age category and level of play (8 teams). Minimum of 4 teams per event.
The organizing committee reserves the right to place players in the appropriate level of play. Categories may change according to registrations received and field availability. The organizing committee reserves the right to cancel entries if there are not enough players to form a pool. The criterion used will be the team's registration date. For example, we may have to merge events to achieve a single event. Category changes are made to a higher level or a lower age group. Teams affected by a change will be contacted for acceptance of the change.
Clothing: Yellow clothing will not be accepted.
Scoring: All games will be 15 points except medal round games which will be 2 out of 3 of 11 points.
Balls: ONYX interior.
Hotel: There are two hotels within walking distance of the Sports Center, the Comfort Inn (819-243-6010) and the Holiday Inn (819-503-8800). See Lodging section for more information. We have obtained special prices. However, there are deadlines for bookings at this special rate.
Please note that the fees charged by Pickleball Tournament at the time of registration are not handled by the organizing committee and are non-refundable.
