We are thrilled to introduce Canada’s inaugural PRO Pickleball Tour, organized by the Canadian Pickleball Association (CPA). Our first stop in Toronto at the “Pickleball Capital of Ontario” HISPORTS will also serve as the grand opening of its 7 dedicated outdoor court expansion. The tournament will play on 14 dedicated pickleball courts (1 indoor championship court with grandstand seating & live-streaming + 6 indoor dedicated courts + 7 newly constructed outdoor courts). Next to the action will be a Pickleball Village with the latest merchandise from JOOLA, HISPORTS, and more; with food, refreshments, and a DJ on-site.

AMATEURS PLAYERS - Play Among The Pros

Amateur matches will be played next to championship court where the top professionals in Canada will compete to secure seeding and standing for the 2025 season. To ensure inclusivity, we offer categories ranging from 3.0 level to PRO, with age classifications of 19+, 35+, and 50+ participants. A players lounge will be available to rest & recharge in between games. All players will receive a CPA Pro Tour shirt with registration.

Watch 24 of Canada’s best pickleball players compete for 8 coveted sponsorship spots for the 2025 season. The CPA Pro Tour has exclusive TOUR commitments with top pros such as Ernesto Fajardo (5x National Champion, JOOLA Pro), Brad Chapman (5x National Champion), and Christina Chin (2023 National Champion, JOOLA Pro).

PRO-LEVEL PLAYERS (4.5+) - Test Your Skills Against Canada’s Best

We encourage non-CPA pro-level players (4.5+) to register and play against Canada’s best for a share of the minimum $15,000 prize pool, bragging rights, and potential 2025 sponsorship.

If, at close of registration, the pro brackets become larger than 16 teams a qualifying event may be held prior to the event and CPA Pro players will receive automatic entry into the main draw of the Pro brackets. The CPA Pro Tour reserves the right to move teams to a lower bracket based on rating or prior results.

REFEREES & VOLUNTEERS

If you are able to referee or volunteer on any of the tournament days (Wednesday, June 5 - Sunday, June 9), please contact the CPA Pro Tour via Pickleball Brackets or info@cpaprotour.ca.

Referees will be paid at Pickleball Canada standard match rates (L1 - $7, L2 - $10, Certified - $15). All medal matches will be refereed, with an effort to referee all matches.

CLINICS

Keep your eye out for tournament clinics with the pros offered through HISPORTS leading up to the tournament.

IMPORTANT - On your player profile, make sure you have 'receive in game text messages' checked to 'YES' AND Cell Carrier should be selected. This is how you will receive your game notifications and court assignments. Please keep your phone close to you and be aware of getting a TEXT for your next matches and results. Failure to show up to the match will result in a default. Please arrive 30 mins prior to the start of your event.

For AMATEUR participants, the CPA Pro Tour will offer competitive Mens/Women Doubles, Mixed Doubles, and Singles events, for each age category (19+, 35+, 50+). Amateurs will play a ROUND ROBIN pool play leading into a 4-team play-off, allowing for competitive games while maximizing court time for participants.

PRO players will have a chance to shine in the Mens/Womens Doubles, Mixed Doubles, and Singles categories on our showcase grandstand courts.The format for the PRO events will be DOUBLE ELIMINATION, promising intense competition throughout the tour. Prize pool payouts will go to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers, with bonuses for triple crown winners.

Scores will be submitted to DUPR at completion of the tournament.

If weather or any other unforeseen circumstance occurs the CPA will do all it can to play matches. If brackets are in mid play when a weather or unforeseen circumstance occurs the situation will be evaluated on a case by case basis to determine if the bracket may be finished or if winners may be determined.

May 5, 2024 - CANCELLATION DEADLINE (for refunds minus a $25 withdrawal fee)

If you withdraw before the CANCELLATION DEADLINE ABOVE, you will be issued a full refund (with a $25 processing fee deducted).

Absolutely no refunds after May 5, 2024 for any reason including injury and unforeseen circumstances.

Format - 1st / 2nd/ 3rd - all amounts are minimum, we are working to increase the prize pool

Singles - $1,000 / $600 / $275

Doubles - $2,000 / $1,200 / $550

Triple Crown Bonus: $500 Must win 3 Golds in pro events of Singles, Doubles and Mixed (does not include Split Age)
