Join us outdoors at the Republic Parks & Rec pickleball courts in Republic, MO for the 2nd Annual CASA Pickleball Tournament for Kids in a Pickle on May 17 & 18th, 2025!
LOCATION:
Republic Parks & Rec: 711 E. Miller Road, Republic, MO 65738. Tennis Surface. 8 permanent nets & 8 temporary nets.
Franklin X-40 balls. Free Parking. Indoor restrooms!
All brackets will be ROUND ROBIN. Some will have additional playoff bracket depending on registration. 4 game minimum.
Cost is $50 (this includes as many events you want to play). This includes the website service fee of $5.00 per person, which is NON-REFUNDABLE.
Includes "guaranteed" event shirt if you register by May 1st, 2025. Final registration deadline is May 11th at 8:00am.
Events will be:
Friday 5pm-8pm: OPEN PLAY and PRACTICE $5 per person ($10 if not playing in tourney)
Saturday 8am-8pm: Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles, Senior Scrambles
Sunday 8am-5pm: Mixed Doubles, Coed Senior Scramble, Coed JUNIORS scramble (ages 8-12)
Senior Brackets (50+) may receive a $10 discount if you're a member of USSP and link your USSP account to your PickleballBrackets Account. JUNIORS bracket are 1/2 price.
Brackets will be separated by age and then skill level. You may play DOWN in age and/or UP in skill at your discretion. Be sure to register for your preferred age/skill level and check your current Skill Rating on Pickleball Brackets & DUPR.
This tournament will use USSP and/or DUPR ratings for primary placement. Please make sure to link your DUPR account to your PBB account. If you do not have a DUPR rating, then it will use your PBB rating or your self rating. If you do not know what skill level to register for, please seek the advice of experienced players and/or the Tournament Director. Planned Age Divisions: 8-49, 50+, 60+, 65+, 65/70+ (scramble), 80+ (scramble)
Planned Skill Divisions:
<2.99 (beginner to novice)
3.0-3.49 (low intermediate)
3.5-3.99 (high intermediate)
4.0-4.49 (low advanced)
4.5-4.99 (high advanced)
5.0+ (expert)
Brackets generally would need to have a minimum of 5 teams or else they will be combined with similar skill or age levels. Events may be merged or split based on registration numbers and at the discretion of the TD. Medals will generally be awarded based on standings in the merged event with the exception of all 50+ brackets which are USSP certified (see below).
Exact bracket times will be announced after registration closes. . Some brackets start at 8am and others will start every 2-3 hours following. Once your bracket starts, you play until you're finished...usually 2-4 hours each.
