The meet is on! Even though the current forecast is showing 70% chance of rain this Saturday it looks like it might be early morning and then dry until evening. We still plan to play outside at the Morrilton City Park, if the weather permits. We will make a decision Friday afternoon on outside or inside play and let everyone know by email if we change to indoor courts. If we play indoors, we will have two venues with 3 courts for the Men's/Coed brackets at Morrilton High School and 2 courts for the women's brackets at Morrilton First Baptist Church. If we move indoors, we will all meet at Morrilton First Baptist Church for registration open at 7am.

The Bill Minner Memorial Pickleball Tournament is a one day outdoor pickleball tournament in Morrilton.

Date: June 7, 2025

Check-in starts at 7am. First events start at 8am.

8 outdoor Courts, Hardcourt playing surface with 4 fixed pickleball nets and 4 portable nets. Fenced and lighted.

Events: Pickleball – Women's Doubles and Men's Doubles

Age Bands: 9-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

Skill Levels: 2.5 and under, 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0+

Men's Doubles - Round Robin format - 1 game to 15, win by 2 against each team in your bracket

Women's Doubles - Round Robin format - 1 game to 15, win by 2 against each team in your bracket

Mixed teams must play in the Men's Doubles event.

A goodie bag, T-shirt (must register by EOD 5/26) and free lunch will be provided to each player.

You can bring your own non-alcoholic drinks and food items. Food and drinks ARE allowed in seating areas and non-court areas.

Seating - There are some picnic tables available, but please bring your own lawn chairs and canopies for shade.

Visitors are allowed - no fee

Bill loved spending time with his friends and family and many in the Faulkner and Conway County Pickleball Group got to know Bill over the past few years playing pickleball. Bill was first and foremost a faithful follower of Christ. He led his family by his example and he sought to always be an encouragement to his many friends. Bill had a wonderful sense of humor and loved life. He was always selfless and his gentle spirit will be missed by countless people.
