The 11th Annual Leisure World Round Robin Pickleball Tournament, presented by Humana
NEW for 2027:
3 age categories (50-57 yrs, 58-64 yrs, 65+ yrs)
All age events will feature ROUND ROBIN games.
Cash Prizes for 5.0 events (minimum 4 teams).
5.0 OPEN age division as well as '50 and above' age division
$300 cash prize for first place teams in 5.0 events.
PROTECTIVE EYEWEAR is mandatory.
MORNING WELCOME: (complimentary)
Each morning from 7:00 - 9:30 am (or when supplies run out) the tournament will host complimentary coffee and baked goods for all players. Plan to come early and enjoy our hospitality.
TOURNAMENT DATES:
Thursday, February 11 - Men's Doubles
Friday, February 12 - Women's Doubles
Saturday, February 13 - Mixed Doubles
AGE CATEGORIES: 50-57 yrs, 58-64 yrs, 65+ yrs.
If needed, age brackets may be altered slightly to even out pools. To play in the 65+ division, BOTH players must be at least 65 yrs old as of December 31, 2027.
SKILL LEVELS: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0
COST: $60 entry fee, $10 per event
GUARANTEED GAMES (based on a minimum of 4 teams per pool) Each team is guaranteed 3 games to 15, win by 2, in the round robin. Playoffs to follow.
WAITLISTS: Teams are encouraged to register early, and if necessary, sit on the waitlist for the event desired. Events will be expanded with teams on the waitlist as time and court availability allows. Teams on the waitlist must be fully registered in order to be moved into the main draw.
AWARDS: Awards will be presented for each event. If events are merged due to lack of registration, there will be one set of awards.
OTHER INFORMATION: It is each player's responsibility to be familiar with any new player/referee rules for 2027. Players are expected to follow all tournament rules.
PLAYOFFS: The number of teams that qualify for the playoffs will depend on the number of teams in the pool. All playoff games are 1 game to 15, win by 2.
The Tournament Director reserves the right to change the format and/or alter the format for round robin playoffs based on the number of teams registered for the event. The TD reserves the right to cancel an event due to lack of registration. (less than 4 teams) Categories with 3 teams will not be played. All participants must check their events the evening before, to ensure no changes have been made.
