*To be held over three days, players will be able to compete in up to four (4) events.

*As a sanctioned tournament with Pickleball Australia Association, competitors will play under current Global Pickleball Federation Rulebook rules. They can be found on the PAA website at https://www.pickleballaus.org/rules-and-scoring
*Competitors will compete for Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in each division.
*The competition will be held in doubles format only, and each competitor can enter a maximum of four (4) events, comprised of:
Friday (50+ divisions). Max 2 events, 1 x Mixed and 1 x Mens/Womens.
Sat-Sun (all ages). Max 2 events, 1 x Mixed and 1 x Mens/Womens.
All games will be rally scoring, first to 15 win by 2.
*The competition format is for a preliminary "Round Robin" in each division.
Top two teams in each pool will advance to the Semi Finals whereby pool 1 winner will play pool 2 runner up. Pool 2 winner v pool 1 runner up. Winners progress to Gold and Silver playoff. Losing teams will play off for the Bronze medal.
If there is only one pool in an event then at the end of the round robin matches the top 4 teams will play in the semi finals. Winners progress to Gold and Silver playoff. Losing teams will play off for the Bronze medal.
Round Robin winners will be determined by the number of games won. If teams are tied, the winner will be then be determined by points won, then points lost and finally H2H.
Medal matches will be best of 3 games first to 15 (win by 2).
*Referees will be scheduled for all gold medal matches.
*Registration for The Rainbow Tournament is $60.00 which includes 1 event, with an additional fee of $20 for each additional event.
*Registrations will close on Sunday 15th March 2026 at 11.55pm or earlier if event limits are reached.

*DIRECTOR'S DISCRETION
The tournament director reserves the right to:
- review, and possibly alter the rating of players who self-rate below or above their actual rating.
- move players and teams between skill level brackets if on verification the wrong event has been entered.
- Skill and age divisions will be collapsed at the discretion of the tournament committee.
- Any event with fewer than 3 entries will be combined with another event of closest possible standard.
- change start times to facilitate smooth running of the tournament
- The tournament director reserves the right to modify the events and/or schedule as needed pending influences beyond our control (ie. Fire drill, Covid restrictions).
*Players must not wear clothing of a similar colour to the balls being played with. We will be playing with ORANGE balls for the entire tournament.
