Springs Pickleball is excited to host its first Split Age Tournament!
This tournament is designed to encourage new partnerships and a fun day of pickleball.
We require an age gap of at least 15 years.
Some divisions are low in numbers but will be merged to other divisions. Everyone will get to play if they want and have a choice if they'd like to go up or down, depending on final registrations and division sizes.
This event will NOT BE LOGGED TO DUPR.
Do your best to rate yourself for your division if you are non-rated.
Combined DUPR ratings will be used to ensure balanced competition. Your team's combined DUPR must fall below the division rating. Example: A 3.75 and a 3.4 (7.15) could play in the 7.5 division. You may play up a division if you're within 0.5 of the combined DUPR. The 3.75 and 3.4 team could play up in the 8.5 and Under division, too.
Format
Round Robin: Games to 15, win by 2.
Single elimination bracket to follow, with 4 teams advancing. Best of 3 games to 11, win by 2.
