Welcome to the final tournament in the BackSpin Showdown Series: The Invitational Championship Tournament – The Final Showdown.
This exclusive event is open only to medalists from the previous four Showdown tournaments. Should any division not fill with six teams, Wild Card spots will be awarded.
The first teams eligible for Wild Card consideration will be the fourth-place finishers from the previous four Showdown tournaments. If there are more eligible fourth-place teams than available spots, the Wild Card entries will be determined by a random draw among those teams.
If vacancies still remain after all eligible fourth-place teams have been considered, the remaining spots will be filled through a random draw of all players who participated in the previous four Showdown tournaments according to the brackets they played in.

- Registration $53.00 (plus Pickleball Tournament service fee)
- Additional events: $13.00 (plus Pickleball Tournament service fee)
Note: Pickleball Tournament is an American company, the service fee charge is based on the exchange rate of that day and can therefore vary per person. If your registration exceeds $85.00 please advise the Tournament Director.

Registration is considered complete when both players are registered and payments have been received for both players. If payment is not made within 7 days, you will be moved to the waitlist.

DUPR ratings will be updated with results of this tournament.
BRACKETS:
The Brackets will depend on the number of registrants, changes may be made to either the skills bracket or age brackets, this will only be done to manage registration numbers and time allocation.
There must be at least four teams registered in a bracket for that bracket to run. It's possible, if scheduling allows that brackets with four teams will either have games to 15 or they will have a double round robin, but this is only if time permits, otherwise they will have the same format as other brackets.
We have the following brackets for Male & Female, and Mixed teams:
SKILL LEVELS:
- 3.00 and under (this includes players with skill rating 2.00 to 3.49)
- 3.50 to 3.99
- 4.00 to 4.99
- Open
AGE LEVELS:
- Any
- 54 and under
- 55 and above
COMPETITION SCHEDULE:
Friday – Men’s and women’s 3.0 or 3.5 brackets depending on number of registrants.
Saturday Men and Women’s Doubles – staggered start times
Sunday Mixed Doubles – staggered start times
PLAYERS MUST CHECK DETAILS THE DAY BEFORE THEY PLAY AS START TIMES MAY CHANGE.
FORMAT: (this may change if registration is not full, potentially allowing for more teams to move to playoffs)
- Round Robin games to 11 win by at least 2 – four (4) games guaranteed.
- All teams advance to play-offs except for odd numbered brackets, for those all but the last team will advance.
- Pre-medal Game is single elimination.
- Pre-medal and play-off games are to 15 win by at least 2.
- All medal games are to 15 win by at least 2
TEAMS:
- Maximum of 6 teams per bracket - more may be added depending on other brackets
- A minimum of 4 teams per bracket or pool.
- Waitlist available for additional players should bracket size change or players withdraw.
