The Pearl is the first-ever Tournament hosted by PPCOFNJ! Every player will be rocking all-white attire on the courts — turning the event into a bold, bright, and unforgettable celebration of pickleball.
Check-in:
Please remember to check in at the registration booth. Check-in opens at 7:00 AM, an hour before the day's first matches. Matches will start promptly at 8:00 AM (even earlier if everyone in your event has checked in and courts are available).
On the tournament day, you will be directed to the area where all brackets are listed with court assignments and Court Monitor information.
Please proceed directly to your assigned courts for warm-up and to see your assigned court monitor to receive important information and your score sheets for each match. After each match, complete your scoresheet, return the ball, and return it to your court monitor to receive your next match. Ask your court monitor if you have any questions.
Round-Robin Tiebreaker Procedures
In the event of a tie during round-robin play, team standings shall be determined according to the following sequence of tiebreakers:
Head-to-Head Result – The team that won the match played between the tied teams shall be ranked higher.
Point Differential – If the tie remains, the total point differential (points scored minus points conceded) across all matches shall be applied. The team with the higher point differential shall be ranked higher.
Point Differential Against the Next-Highest Team – If the tie persists, the point differential in matches against the next-highest ranked team shall determine placement.
These procedures are intended to ensure consistency, fairness, and objectivity in determining team standings.
