🎉 Bash in the Boro Pickleball Round Robin
Benefiting the Murfreesboro Pickleball Association
Welcome to the Bash in the Boro Pickleball Tournament, a fun, competitive round robin event benefiting the Murfreesboro Pickleball Association (MPA)! Join us for great pickleball, community connection, and a chance to support the continued growth of pickleball in Murfreesboro.
The tournament will be held at Apex Pickleball, located at 605 River Rock Blvd., Murfreesboro, Tennessee, with food trucks onsite to keep players and spectators fueled throughout the day.
🏓 Tournament Format & Play
Registration Fee: $60 per player (includes entry into one event) - Each additional event $10.00
All players will receive a player gift bag the date of their first event.
Moneyball Event - Registration $75 for each event
Payout $500 for gold, $400 for silver, and $300 for bronze (20 teams needed for this payout)
Events will be organized by age and skill level.
If fewer than three teams register for an event, it may be combined with the closest appropriate bracket to ensure quality play. Brackets will be combined by age then skill. Before brackets are combined, we will reach out to individual teams to determine whether they wish to continue with the combined bracket or whether they wish to withdraw from the tournament.
Events with five (5) or more teams will feature a playoff for the top four teams following round robin play.
🧮 Match Formats:
3 teams:
Double round robin
One game to 15, win by 2
4–7 teams:
One game to 15, win by 2
Top three teams will have a playoff - games to 15, win by 2
8+ teams:
Broken into pools
Pool play games to 15, win by 2
Top two teams from each pool will be in the playoffs - games to 15 win by 2
Specific start times by division will be finalized and emailed 5 days prior to the tournament.
👥 Partners & Registration Notes
Players may register with a partner or select “Need Partner.”
Your partner must register within five (5) days of your registration to remain active.
Teams will be moved to the waitlist if the partner does not register during the grace period.
A team’s spot is not guaranteed until both players are registered, and all fees are paid in full.
If a partner registers late and a spot is available, the team will automatically move back to the active list.
📊 Scoring, DUPR & Officiating
Scores will be uploaded after every match, with automatic DUPR updates.
Referees will be available for medal matches.
🏆 Additional Notes
Awards will be based on the original bracket a player registered for, even if brackets are combined.
