Whether you have played a few times and want to hone some skills, or you are new to the game, this event is for you.

We will start with a 30 minute clinic, in which players will be given a brief overview of the game, rules, and necessary skills. Afterwards, teams will play each other in round robin fashion. This will give players tons of in game practice in a friendly atmosphere. On site staff will be walking by to help players with any questions and provide tips.

The event is scheduled for about 2 hours.

Format:

Round Robin Pool Play: Teams are put into pools of 4 teams or more. Each team plays against the others. Games are to 11, win by 1. Guaranteed 3 games.

We will be providing water and finger foods.

On site seating and shade is available, but we recommend bringing your own as well.

We cannot control the weather. Should it not be possible to hold this tournament due to weather, we will do our best to move the event to a different day.

Matchpoint LLC is dedicated to providing a safe and fun sporting environment.

All participants should keep this in mind when becoming involved. Although the games may become

intense, you still can be competitive while maintaining good sportsmanship. Any behavior deemed

unacceptable by the staff may result in suspension and/or ejection from a match or the tournament.

Abuse of officials, referees, opposing players and other staff will not be tolerated. Fighting will be an automatic withdrawl from the tournament and grounds for removal from the facility. Any behavior deemed unacceptable by staff may result in a withdrawl match and/or tournament.

● If a player touches another player physically, inappropriately or with intent to harm, despite who

may be "right or wrong", they will be immediately withdrawn from the tournament.

● On their second offense, they will be banned.

***Remember, this is fun competition. Anyone exuding douchebaggery, rudeness or ignorance will be withdrawn from their match and maybe also be removed from the tournament as these actions eliminate fun for everyone else.

ABSOLUTELY NO GLASS ALLOWED. Drinks must either be in cups, plastic bottles, or in koozies.
