EVENTS:
Categories: Mixed Doubles, Gender Doubles, Coed for 2.5 Skill Level
Skill Levels: 2.5 (Coed), 3.0, 3.5, 4.0+
Age Groups: Any Age, 60+
FORMAT:
Round Robin with Medal Rounds.
Round Robin in Pools (1 game to 11, win by 2, no cap)
Semi-Final: 1 game to 15, win by 2, no cap
Bronze Medal Games: 1 game to 15, win by 2, no cap
Gold Medal Games: Best 2 of 3 (game to 11, win by 2, no cap)
COST:
Registration is $30, plus $10 per additional event.
REGISTRATION:
Registration opens on May 15, 2023 at 8 a.m. and closes on July 5, 2023, at 8 p.m.
Registration is through Pickleball Brackets where you must have established a profile.
Must be a Pickleball Canada Member.
A pair's status in the tournament is not verified until the 2nd partner registers. Failure of the
2nd partner to register within two (2) days of the 1st player registering may jeopardize the
status of the pair.
SCHEDULE:
Events will run from 8:30 a.m.
COURTS:
6 Outdoor surfaces
ELIGIBILITY TO ENTER AN EVENT
Age: An older player may play in a younger age group. A younger player may not play in an
older age group
Skill Level: The skill level of players is determined by their data in their Pickleball Brackets
profile. Players may play at a higher skill level but cannot play at a lower level.
DISCRETION:
The Tournament Director reserves the right to add, combine, modify or cancel skill levels/events pending registration numbers and may change start times if needed.
EQUIPMENT:
Tournament Ball: Franklin
Clothing: Tournament Director may ask a player to change attire if clothing is similar to the colour of the tournament ball.
OFFICIATING:
Some final matches may be officiated.
