Hello players!
We look forward to seeing you at the upcoming Battle of the Paddle Tournament on the outdoor courts at the Royal Gardens Community League (4030 - 117 Street NW in Edmonton)!
Here are some important updates:
• Schedule & Weather: All events will be held on Saturday, July 11. If rain causes too many delays, we will finish the event on Sunday.
• Start Times:
o Men’s and Women’s Doubles: 9:30 AM (please arrive to register by 8:45 AM). Courts are not available for use until 9:00 AM.
o Mixed Doubles: 3:00 PM (please arrive to register by 2:15 PM)
• Parking:
o There is abundant street parking adjacent to the facility.
o A limited number of parking spots are available on the North and South sides of the community league.
o Please do NOT park in the spots on the front side (East) of the community league building, as they are reserved and not available for player use.
• Equipment Rules: As this is a sanctioned tournament, all paddles must be USA Pickleball (USAP) approved. If you are uncertain, please check the USAP Approved Paddle List.
• Court Assignments: Be sure to log in to Pickleball Tournaments and ensure you are set up to receive text messages. This will be the mechanism by which court assignments are made. When you receive a court notification, go directly to your assigned court. A tournament official will bring the balls and scorecard to you. Please return the scorecard to the operations table promptly after the match ends.
