REGISTRATION FOR THIS TOURNAMENT WILL BE CLOSED ONCE WE REACH CAPACITY OF 110 REGISTERED PLAYERS!!

This one day tournament will include doubles events in men's, women's and mixed categories. Players can only play in one event. All play will be a round robin format with teams being guaranteed at least 5 games. Age divisions may be implemented, if needed.

With only 8 courts, we will need to limit the number of participants to 110. Once we reach that number, registration will be closed. This tournament has filled each year before the scheduled June 15 close of registration. So, be sure to register EARLY.

Minimum age to play is 21. This is NOT a sanctioned tournament.

Where there used to be a single rating system for pickleball, there are now several. We will continue to use the (outdated) UTPR system which utilizes a skill level range of 1 - 5.

Skill levels used for player placement in our tournament will be:

2.5/3.0 (Recreational) ; 3.5 (Intermediate); 4.0+ (Advanced)

Registration requires payment for each player. You may register without a partner but you will need to add a partner within 3 days of registering or you will be moved to the Wait List.

Registration for each player is $55, with $50 going to South Tahoe Cancer League; and/or METAvivor (https://www.metavivor.org/). This amount is tax deductible. The other $5 is paid to Pickleball Brackets for registration processing.

No Refunds will be made.

Waivers must be completed online in order to complete registration.

Tournament Director reserves the right to amend or combine brackets based on participation or any unforeseen event up to and including the day of the tournament.

**In case of rain, the make up day will be Sunday, July 6, 2025.**

Registration opens Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 8:00 am. Once you have completed registering for an event, you'll be redirected to our non-profit Zeffy account for payment. You can use a credit card or direct debit from a bank account to pay the $55 ($50 registration + $5 processing fee for Pickleball Brackets). You'll also have the option of making an additional donation to Pinkleball in Paradise to help us support breast cancer patients - this is completely optional.

By using Zeffy, we do not pay any transaction fees so your total registration fee (less $5 paid to Pickleball Brackets) is used to support breast cancer patients. Zeffy relies on donations to their platform to cover the transaction fees. You'll have the option of supporting their platform with a donation - this is completely optional.

There are no seating areas near the courts so plan to bring your own lawn/sling chairs.

The park is at nearly 7,000’ elevation - thus oxygen is less plentiful and UV radiation is much more intense. Plan to pace yourself during play and be sure to bring a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. In addition, be sure to hydrate throughout the day. A hydration station will be available, so bring your own water container - as we don’t want to add more plastic to the Tahoe Basin.
