Naples Mixed Doubles Pickleball Classic

Hi Friends,

I am proud to let you know that the 2nd annual “Naples Mixed Doubles Pickleball Classic” is set for Saturday and Sunday January 18 and 19. We have a new and improved venue that will provide more than just pickleball.

Sports Challenge America (located on the grounds of the former Naples Dog Track on Bonita Beach Rd. Just west of 75 in Bonita Springs) will be our new home with 12 dedicated pickleball courts, and a spacious air conditioned indoor area to cool off. It has a restaurant/bar, bowling alley, golf simulators, and cornhole. We will have great raffles, giveaways, entertainment, and premium gift bag as we did last year. We expect many vendors that will line the long rows of courts with the latest in apparel, paddles, jewelry, sneakers, and more. Free massage and stretch tables as well as food trucks. We will be debuting our Stanley Cup type trophy that will have all of our gold medalists names on it every year. Bring the entire family as this will be more than just a pickleball tournament.

Age Divisions: 49 and under,50+,60+,70+

Skill Divisions: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5

additional age brackets may be added if events fill

(brackets may get combined as needed due to registration numbers)

Cost: $75 per player ($70 plus a $5 service fee)

Mixed event cost included in registration cost.

Players may now signup for multiple events as long as they are not on the same day.

Additional event is $20

Mixed Doubles - 4.0, 4.5+

These brackets are full. All further registrations for Saturday will be put on waitlist.

Mixed Doubles - 3.0 and 3.5 brackets

The specific event schedule of play (start times) will get determined based on player registration. Each bracket will start and finish on the same day.

All brackets play round robin formats. Guarantee at least 4 games.

4 team brackets

Double round robin (no playoff) - 1 game to 15 (win by 2)

5-6-7 team brackets

Single round robin (no playoff) - 1 game to 15 (win by 2)

8-9 team brackets

Single round robin (no playoff) - 1 game to 11 (win by 2)

10 or more team brackets

Pool play round robins with playoffs

bracket is split into 2 pools

Single round robin within their pool - 1 game to 15 (win by 2)

Top 2 teams from each pool advance to playoffs

Playoff format - 2 rounds (if 4 teams advance)

Round 1 - winner pool 1 plays 2nd place from pool 2, winner pool 2 plays 2nd place pool 1. 1 game to 15 (win by 2)

Round 2 - winners of round 1 play for Gold/Silver, losers of round 1 play for Bronze. 1 game to 15 (win by 2)

SPECIAL NOTE - brackets that exceed 14 teams might be split into 3 or more pools and/or an additional age bracket may be added.

Online payment is available through Stripe only.

You do not have to have a Stripe account to pay online.

Payments may not be transferred from one player to another.

Our Cancellation Policy

Players may cancel up to 30 days prior to the tournament (Dec 19) to receive a refund.

Any cancellations after Dec 19, 2024 will not receive a refund. Requests can be asked of the tournament director and are given at his discretion.

Any weather announcements will be listed here as well as texted to all the players. As of right now, all play is as scheduled.
