1) Skill Eligibility
For ALL doubles events, both players must individually fall within the DUPR rating range of the division they register for. Teams may play up into a higher division, but may not play down into a lower division. Tournament organizers reserve the right to verify DUPR ratings and adjust division placement if necessary.
Players may play up, but may not play down.
Examples:
A 3.5-rated player may enter a 4.0+ division.
A 4.0-rated player may NOT enter a 3.5 division.
A 3.0-rated player may enter a 3.5 division if desired.
(Division sizes and age groups may be adjusted or combined depending on registration)
2) Registration Fees
ONLY $49 per player (Includes one event)
Additional Event: $35 per player
Players are encouraged to compete in both a gender doubles event and Mixed Doubles if scheduling permits. Space in each division is limited, and registration may close once a division reaches capacity.
3) Tournament Format
The tournament is designed to give players meaningful court time rather than a one-and-done elimination experience.
Each division will generally feature:
Round Robin Pool Play → Playoffs → Championship
Players should expect 4-5 guaranteed matches before the playoff stage. Final format may be adjusted based on the number of teams registered in each division.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Each player must register individually. Registration fees are per player, not per team.
An emergency contact is required for every participant.
Only USAP or UPA-approved paddles may be used.
The tournament director reserves the right to merge brackets/age/skill levels if low signups.
Exact start times will be posted 3-4 days before the tournament
Players may enter up to 0.100 above the listed DUPR division maximum.
Example: A 3.5–4.0 division allows players rated up to 4.100.
Our tournament rules stipulate that if you have less than 30 games on DUPR you can self-rate. Ratings are unreliable until you have a solid base of games.
