REGISTERING FOR AN EVENT
This is a Pickleball Canada sanctioned tournament. NEW THIS YEAR 💥- a player's DUPR rating on the day of registration will be used for registration. Tournament results will be uploaded to DUPR and to Pickleball Canada. All registrants will need a Pickleball Tournaments profile and a DUPR profile to register. All registrants must be current members of Pickleball Canada to play in this tournament. To join or renew your membership, please visit the PCO website at https://pickleballcanada.org/participate/individual-membership/join-renew/ Pickleball Canada's online waiver will be used.
Players are allowed to play up ONE full skill level. For example, players with a 3.0 rating can play in a 3.0, 3.5 or 4.0 event, and players with a 3.5 rating may enter a 3.5, 4.0 or 4.5 event.
Players below a 3.0 rating will be allowed to register in the 3.0 skill level category.
To allow for more competitors, players can ONLY register in 1 event with the same Player Group & Format Combo regardless of the day.
Registration is online only at https://pickleballtournaments.com/
Registration is not complete until BOTH partners have registered, agreed to the online waiver, and PAID in full. Online payment via Stripe. When the maximum per event is reached based on fully registered/paid teams, others will be added to the waitlist.
The software lists teams on the waitlist in alphabetical order of the first person of the team who registered. NOT IN ORDER OF REGISTRATION date/time. Teams are moved from the waitlist onto the active list in chronological order.
Enter as a TEAM and make sure your partner registers and pays within 3 days of you registering. If a partner has not completed his/her/their registration within 3 days of the first partner registering, the team will be moved to the waitlist. When the identified partner registers, and pays, the team will be moved from the waitlist back to the active list ONLY if a slot is available. Confirm with your partner BEFORE registration to avoid disappointment. If you do not have a partner you can click on "Players Needing a Partner" to possibly find one. The tournament committee do not find partners for players.
All players must complete their registration and pay in full by Monday, June 1, 2026, 9:00 p.m. to remain on the Active List. Incomplete teams and teams owing registration fees will be moved to the Wait List as of June 2nd.
If a partner is injured prior to the start of the tournament, but after registration has closed, the tournament desk must be contacted to request a change in partner. Replacement players must be able to play in the same skill/age group as the injured player. The replacement player must agree to the online waiver and submit payment to be fully registered. Keep in mind, players may play up in skill, but not down. Consideration and approval for any request to replace a player after registration closes will be at the discretion of the Tournament Director. No changes will be allowed after an event has started.
The Tournament Committee reserves the right to make changes to the tournament, combine events, or modify the format as needed, depending on the number of registrations.
Rain-out date is Monday, June 15, 2026, should it be required. Please plan to be available for the rain-out day.
Medals will be awarded in every event.
