Backhand Brew Summer Classic

Join us for the Backhand Brew Summer Classic, a full weekend pickleball tournament featuring Men's, Women's, and Mixed Doubles divisions across multiple skill levels.
Each division is limited to 8 teams and is designed to provide a competitive and fun experience for all participants.
Registration Pricing
• Early Bird Pricing: $35/player through July 1, 2026
• Standard Pricing: $50/player beginning July 1, 2026
Divisions
• Men's Doubles: 3.00–3.49, 3.50–3.99, 4.00–4.49
• Women's Doubles: 3.00–3.49, 3.50–3.99
• Mixed Doubles: 3.00–3.49, 3.50–3.99, 4.00–4.49
DUPR Eligibility
Team ratings are calculated using:
• 75% of the higher-rated player's DUPR
• 25% of the lower-rated player's DUPR
DUPR ratings will be verified prior to the tournament. Teams whose ratings do not fall within their selected division may be moved to the appropriate division.
Tournament Information
• DUPR-recorded matches
• Medals awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each division
• Coffee, beer, wine, and refreshments available throughout the weekend
• Outdoor patio seating, cornhole, and ping pong
Format
The anticipated format is 4 seeding games followed by a double-elimination bracket. Final formats are subject to change based on registration numbers and tournament operations.
Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time. Final schedules and court assignments will be released prior to the tournament.
