Tournament Description

The SPP Paddle Classic is an annual suicide prevention pickleball tournament benefiting Suicide Prevention Partnership.

Hosted at Peak Pickleball, this mission-driven tournament brings players, families, sponsors, and supporters together for a weekend built around competition, community, connection, hope, and local impact.

More than a tournament, the SPP Paddle Classic is a community event created to raise awareness, support suicide prevention efforts in the Pikes Peak Region, and rally people around a cause that matters.

Players can look forward to a professionally run weekend of pickleball at one of the premier indoor pickleball facilities in the region, with tournament play, community engagement, and special event programming connected to the mission of Suicide Prevention Partnership.

Optional donation selections may appear during registration for players and supporters who would like to make an additional contribution to Suicide Prevention Partnership. These donation selections are listed in the registration system for payment-processing purposes only and are not tournament events or playable divisions.

The SPP Paddle Classic is designed as a community-centered tournament weekend supporting hope, awareness, and suicide prevention.

Important Donation Note:

Donation options may appear during registration under the event selection area. These are not playable events and will not be scheduled or run as tournament divisions. They are included only to allow players and supporters to make optional donations to Suicide Prevention Partnership during registration.

The event may include tournament play, sponsorship opportunities, community engagement, and Glow Night programming. Glow Night is intended to be a fun, high-energy, community-facing experience that expands the tournament weekend beyond competitive play and helps broaden support for the cause.

Additional event details, divisions, brackets, start times, and schedule information will be posted as tournament planning is finalized.

Refund Policy

Refund requests will be reviewed according to tournament registration deadlines and operational commitments.

Because this is a fundraising event benefiting Suicide Prevention Partnership, players are encouraged to notify tournament organizers as early as possible if they are unable to participate.

Refund availability may be limited once brackets, schedules, shirts, event materials, or other tournament expenses have been finalized.

Parking Information

Parking Fee: No Fee

Free parking is available on site at Peak Pickleball. There is plenty of parking for players, guests, sponsors, and spectators throughout tournament weekend.

Weather

The SPP Paddle Classic is hosted indoors at Peak Pickleball.

Because tournament play is scheduled on indoor courts, weather is not expected to impact normal event operations. Players should still allow extra travel time in the event of severe weather or road conditions.

Any weather-related updates or schedule changes will be communicated by tournament staff if needed.

Health & Safety

Player and guest safety is a priority throughout the SPP Paddle Classic.

Participants are expected to play responsibly, respect fellow players, follow facility rules, and notify tournament staff of any injury, emergency, or safety concern.

Please warm up properly, stay hydrated, and use good judgment during play. Players should not participate if they are feeling ill or unable to safely compete.

In the event of an emergency, notify tournament staff immediately.
